Evening all, Thought I would start a new thread as I have been away for a little while and have come back to Corrado ownership. When I received it...... This had been off the road for quite a while so I knew it would need a bit of TLC Started working on a few issues...... A nice B&Q shelf bracket as an exhaust hanger. New discs & pads all round (no pics) LED's missing from inside the clocks (?) Cleaning all the brake pipes etc. Then I started doing some bits I was looking forward to :) Wiring the heated seats in... Momo 280mm wheel... Then I decided I wanted to replace the stalks with the later versions... Lupo wipers.... Replaced the sunroof mech for a Mk3 Golf estate item, now it tilts & slides :) Removed the rear wiper... Sold the Borbets, replaced them and then it was MOT time.....

I got the hose kit for a US mk2 golf with air con. Had enough for all mate. It is hard work keeping on top of it as it's my daily [emoji20]

Cheers Micky, It's a 2L valver motor, KR head, ABF cams, four branch and lots of other bits. The polished inlet was in the car when I got it but added a few bits myself and made a cover tray for where the battery used to be :)

Replaced the power steering bottle for the smaller Mk4 Golf item :)

Not today but yesterday...... Replaced the HT leads and did a little mod with the crank breather :)

We had a great day there. A nice chilled out venue with some good friends make the day for me along with the great vehicles on display. I agree that I was a bit disappointed when I saw the 2 car clubstand for the site. There were still lots of nice corrado's to look around in other areas too :)

The place will be well signposted. We have move the entrance this year to make it better to get in. Just tell the guys on the gate (I'll be one I them) where you want to go and we'll get you in the right place. The showground doesn't open until 8am so anytime after that as the show & shine field is huge. No restrictions on leaving time at all. Maybe later when some have gone would be good to get the rados together for a group shot [emoji106]. I know of some who are not on here taking theirs so should be good [emoji41]

Aw, that's a real shame Ray. Was hoping to get a few more Corrado's this year, would have been good to get some group pictures in the show field.

Cheers for the good feedback Ray :). We have more catering on site this year including a licenced bar (for the non-drivers). PS. the Corrado looks mega in those pics 8-)
