http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rear-Brake-Disc-s ... 3289wt_939 These look good :) Is doing brakes and wheel bearing an easy job? Trying to keep cost down lol
-
Lol I have no idea where places get the retail prices from. Rang gfs they only 15 quid for some rear brakes they seem far too cheap and the dealer want 59 for the rear brakes :confused4:
-
Vw want 27.52 for the rear pads 59.18 for the rear brakes The guy at the garage said the fronts are are good, would I get away with just doing the rears for now? The front have grooved discs on them. http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info. ... cts_id=576 Would these be ok for the rear?

I want ones that work  Should I just get some std ones for gfs or euro car part then? Or should I upgrade to some better one?
-
What brakes should I get?
-
No the guy who runs it was busy at the time and had to rush off. I think the brakes/tryes are the ones to sort first.
-
Yea true just needs more work then I thought  but don't they all. Best get saving then for all this work to be done.

I am also having similar problems but not sure what it is. It struggles to start up first time but does start after a few try s but it runs very rough and even when warm. It is like it is almost over running and very jerky when cold and hot. :confused4:
-
Still not running right :(
-
Put new leads on all was fine but just been for a drive and its running rough on idle and can feel the whole seat vibrating. What is up with it? I don't think it could be the leads can it? Had new sparks plugs not long ago and had new dizzy and rotar arm. Its starting to pee me off now. :mad2:

Hahahha ok I will try euro first then :)
-
They are broke car misfires with them on :( Going try euro tomorrow. Will the parts department as vw be open tomorrow? Might try them aswell

Anyone know of anywhere else to get parts for the Corrado over the counter need some ignition leads for the car. Gfs ones are rubbish so taking them back tomorrow and seeing if euro car parts have any in but if not is there anywhere I could try around Manchester? I need them for tomorrow as I am wanting to go ultimate dubs on Sunday :(
-
Still having problems. The leads turned out to be crap and broke (brand new). Got them from gfs and they made the car run like crap. So took them off put the old ones back on its running slightly better but running lumpy and slightly hesitant. My plan was go get other leads tomorrow to see if that helps. Is there anything else it could be?
-
Thanx that is is for a g60 need one for a vr6
