-
Thanks for looking anyway :-)

Hi, I'm looking for a late nearside headlight for my 1995 VR6. Doesn't need to have glass, as long as clips are all intact. Cheers
-
Hi can anyone help? My 95 VR won't start, I went out to it this morning got in turned the key and all that happened is a click. All the lights come on fine. If you keep trying it will start after about 15 attempts. I checked the voltage of the battery and got 12.7v when off and 14.8v when the cars start! Any ideas? Cheers, Lewis

Had G13 coolant in it before, but befinately think it was the radiator because when I touched it all the cooling fins were falling off. But now coolant sits at 85-90 but before was 110

Got round to fitting some stuff today. Done- Main water pump ( turned out the old one was fine and intact with metal impellers, oh well replaced it anyway ) V belt Radiator ( the old one was completely knackered and falling apart ) New G13 coolant I now have normal coolant temperature at last :-D must have been the radiator causing the problems

Anyone help? :-(

Thanks everyone for there help I have decided to order a new- radiator Water pump V belt G13 coolant Radiator fan switch Radiator top elbow + seal Manual fan over ride switch on dash That should hopefully help things :-) Craigowl I think i have seen u a few times , Do you live at Barons hill? Hi, I'm looking at installing a fan over ride switch on the dash in my VR for when I'm sitting in traffic in the summer ( when we get a summer that is :-D ) I was going to connect it to the black temp sensor to put speed 3 on but the fan comes on that fast it throws off the radiator belt that goes between the 2 fans. So i was hoping to connect it to speed 2 fan by connecting it to the thermostat on the radiator through a inline fuse, The two bottom terminals of the three I think it is. Would this be ok to do? Cheers

Hi, What's the best oil to use in a 95000 mile vR6? Was going to use 5-40 fully synthetic from VW
-
Well that's the fan belt replaced but it hasn't made much difference :-( it sits between 100-108 all the time, even on the motorway. anyone any ideas what To check now? Thanks
-
What else could be wrong? It's just had new coolant and thermostat
-
Just went for a look around and found that the belt between the two radiator fans has snapped, so only working on one fan. So that won't help the temp
-
Hi, what is the Normal safe running temp of VR? My coolant sits at 100 on the motorway and 110 around town with the outside air temp 14 degrees. Is this normal? Cheers, Lewis

Hi, I'm interested in a set of these bolts if you have any left? Thanks, steven -
Cheers guys, I will try the above. Is there any sealant suitable I could use to make a seal? Someone told me to use tiger seal! Not convinced :-(
-
Hi, I have a leak coming from between the oil filter housing and the engine block on my 95 VR6. I think it needs a new seal, I believe it's a figure 8 shape... Anyone any idea where I can get one? Went to VW today and they said there is 2 different types, one of which is obsolete :-( Cheers, Steven
-
Ok no problem I will take it, pm me your PayPal address and I will send payment as a gift so there will be no fees. Cheers
-
Would you take £50 for the Beru?

I'm looking for a coil pack in excellent condition for my 95 VR6 Thanks
-
Cheers mate, yeah that helps :-) I have checked and there's no leaks and fan is fine.. So I take it 2x 1.5 litre bottles of G13 coolant and the rest water will be fine?
-
Hi, I'm looking at changing my coolant soon and just Wondered if there is anything else that I should change while I'm at it? Also should I use the G13 coolant, and If so how much will I need? Thanks, Steven
