hi bit of a bizzare request but could anyone with schmidt modern lines either the 1pc 15" or 16" and 3pc 16" tell me the distance between the rear of the wheel spokes and the pad surface of the disc? Trying to find out what wheel will clear my wilwoods preferably in 15" and without spacers cheers

has what ever worked? the spoiler? only had the car about a month it works on switch but not on auto. not botherd about that really for this post. iv have read about common problems so will check them. this post is about the cables at fusebox if they are extras and are not required then ill be happy n stick the underdash back together. spoiler problem still has alot to check out yet its just when looking at one possible cause i found new problems(nothing new there!) cheers

ok had a week of missfire free driving much better mpg and in genral lovely week of floggin it. now miss fires back the good coilpack off my mates car is tracking out all round number 6 coilpole much much worse than mine was. this is very bright and consistent spark and moves in a sort of circle around the coilpole. Now can anything on my engine cause this? lpg system maybe? maybe high resistance in plugs causing spark to take an easier path? Or is it just a coinkydink? cheers oh also about to go n cake my oil coil in fiberglass resin hoping it will insulate it enough to run!

cheers! can anyone confirm this? if thats the case ill stick fusebox back up n underdash trays back in after three weeks of them flying around on the backseat! cheers

hi, my rear spoiler is not working on speed just the switch so i started to have a dig about at the fusebox after reading on here about a common cable being unplugged. unfortuantly i found a few and have little to no idea what they are for. please could someone identify them and give any hints as to where they go.they are all the single cable plugs so top of fusebox? I Have: A green plug with black cable blue stripe (spoiler control module?) A yellow plug with yellow cable and black stripe A red plug with red cable and brown stripe A blue plug with red cable and white stripe A blue SOCKET with white cable blue stripe Here are a few pictures to help cheers

Breaking 1995 Corrado VR6 - 117k, Full Black Leather
sleeper16 replied to Purple Tom's topic in Cars for Breaking
hi mate interested in the heater controls and steering wheel could you send me a pik of the steering wheel please cheers -
cheers for the responces. im planning on changing fuel filter and borring coilpack from a mates engine. i was wondering if the cps could cause this problem? as to me it doesnt feel as quick as it should (but only have my mates 2.8 golf to compare it to). it runs cock on on petrol other than the misfire and exactly the same on lpg except if i go for full throttle its fine if i just increase the throttle slowly...but with vr6 who wants that? ill order new plugs next week and check compression while changing them and try a good coilpack(is the 2.8 golf one the same?) i will take the lpg to a specialist to get sorted i just didnt want to turn up there saying its not right if its actually how it is supposed to work. Thanks for all the help!

hi ive recently bought a vr6 with an lpg conversion, I have a missfire between 1.5k-2k the ends of the leads were shorting out to the block so i bought some blue ignitors and its still there i cant see it shorting anywhere is there anything else that could cause this? Also when on lpg i get really bad throttle responce i cant go for full throttle ever and when accelerating i have to feather the throttle until speed picks up. if i dont do this its as if it hits a limiter. is this normal? Cheers

hi i have not long purchased my first corrado and i have wet foot wells i know the common issues causing this as i had the same on my mk2 which after fully stripping interior still couldnt find out where it was coming in. as this is my daily car i really dont want to start doing that so would prefer to take it to somewhere that would do it for me. After spending the last six years doing engine conversions gearbox conversion full strip downs n rebuilds im being a bit lazy with this car and going to be paying garages to do alot of work on it. So if anyone knows anywhere that would have a look at it in the northeast that would be fantastic cheers

hi, i just bought my first Corrado last week allways had vw's for the last 6 years old beetle(still have) and various mk2 and 3 gti's. Decided as i now need a reliable comfortable car that doesnt need loads of work to make it look nice and run well to sell all the cars and parts and buy a vr6 corrado came with lpg system so bonus and needs minor fettling to get it into shape. from darlington in north east also so would be interested in getting to know any other locals cheers
