Corrado VR6 Storm - Mystic Blue The time has come to sell my corrado, need the garage back plus new car on its way Hopefully the car will find a new owner on here. VW corrado vr6 storm 1995 'N' registration Mystic blue 152k miles (Note rebuild done at approx 148k VW released the ?Storm? special editions as a limited run at the end of production in 1995 they were available in Mystic Blue and Classic Green, and 250 of each colour were made. They are becoming rarer and rarer to find, especially in this unmolested condition. Car only covers less than 500 miles in the 6 months I take it out to shows etc. I have owned the car since 2009 and have done the following: Exterior ? New genuine grille fitted last month ( VW heritage) Not got it resprayed yet as prefer it in the matt black. ? Car professionally waxoyled last month ? New stainless steel tank straps fitted ( group buy) ? New lupo aero wipers and arms fitted ? Replacement wiper motor arms (group buy) ? Front wings replaced and resprayed in original colour ? New aerial base installed as last one looked past its best ? New number plates fitted around 1 month ago Whenever I have done any work, for example drilling out old screws I have replaced with stainless steel ones. Interior ? New roof liner fitted as last one started sagging near sunroof and towards the back of the vehicle ? Original steering wheel re-leathered by royal steering wheels. Looks awesome with the black stitching. ? Front and rear speakers upgraded ? Kenwood stereo ? OEM gauges fitted ( look amazing) very rare to find a set ? Heater backlight ? Heater controls light up much brighter now ( group buy) ? New headlight switch fitted ( group buy) ? Inline fuse fitted to headlight switch to stop potential fire occurring ? New mats fitted ? Upgraded the bulbs in 2 of the interior switches to make them brighter. ? New glovebox fitted as the other one was bent. Engine ? Full top/bottom engine rebuild by D & G in 2010 - car was with graham for over 5 months ? BMC Carbon Induction kit ? Foam removed from underneath of bonnet as looked tatty ( I personally think it looks better) ? New VW power steering fitted last month ( ?282 from VW dealership) ? New Bosch battery fitted last month at a cost of ?90, this is the good battery with a high rating. ? Audi R8 Oil filler cap (Awesome GTI) Brakes/Suspension/Wheels ? VW solitude alloys and had them professionally refurbished ? New Kuhmo tyres fitted all round, loads of grip remaining. ? Upgraded front brakes to 288mm and upgraded lines. ? Blistein shock absorbers all round - in my opinion car sits better. ? Braided fuel lines at front ? New bearings on front and rear. Note these are genuine vag parts installed not cheap parts. ? Brakes lines fully replaced (group buy on forum) ? New rear brake discs and mk 4 calipers fitted ? New rear abs rings fitted ? New abs sensors fitted all round using genuine VW parts ? Replacement abs pump ? G12 expansion tank fitted Other: ? Obtained a original dealership sticker from where the car was bought from back in 1995. ? Also had replica tax discs made up which look amazing, again this is just me trying to make the car look as good as possible. * note 1 since ownership the car has only been used in the summer months and stored from October- April every year in my garage. * note 2 since ownership the car has only run on shell v power Other info ? Spoiler works perfectly ? Sunroof works perfectly ? No abs issues ? Spare tyre included including all tools. Wrench, ht lead removal tool etc. Since ownership it has passed all it's m.o.t with no advisories which warrants all the money spent on the corrado since ownership. Car has 3 months m.o.t left I am after ?5250 for the car which is a bargain. Also have a used Magnex exhaust(cat back system) which I will include in sale Please pm me or email me on [email protected] Location of car is Manchester. List Date: 2/1/2015 Location: Cheshire, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: Corrado VR6 Storm - Mystic Blue -------------------------------------- On Sale For: ?5,250.00 (Local Pickup Only) --------------------------------------

Advice needed on pulling out the Break Pedal Position Sensor
VR6 Lee replied to vr-man's topic in Engine Bay
I removed all the bmc and the top pipes so i could get good access to the master cylinder. Get a mirror and a small screw driver and remove the c clip from underneath... This is why you need the mirror. I pumped the brake pedal a few times to get rid of any vacuum. After this the brake pedal sensor should come straight out. Just had mine fixed by Vince at Stealth for £59.50. :)) -
