Hello all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I've finally taken the plunge and bought myself a VR6 and was wondering if there were any good garages out there in East Anglia/Mids where they know their Corrados?
The car has done 146k and hasn't had the timing chains done yet, but from all accounts it has had a pretty easy life and doesn't seem to make any odd noises when starting up. Is this something I should start saving up for now, or should I wait until I start hearing a rattle?
Also, although the fan works at 1-4, it only blows out air at the same temperature whatever the heater setting is put to (it also has aircon, but that doesn't do anything either). Reading through a thread on the site it looks like it could be the cold/hot air flap, so I'll try to have a fiddle over the weekend to see if its that.
The temperature hasn't gone above ~80, which I thought was a bit low. Is this anything to worry about, or is that quite ok?
