Hi has anyone seen Strosek deep dish wheels before? They were fitted to a G60 Corrado I picked up! They need a refurb and repaint as they have been painted black, not that keen on then!

Ive got a Forester 2.5XT brilliant car, extremely fast, also in the snow it was great hardy lost grip, we have had ours for a year and nothing touch wood has gone wrong with it apart from my wife getting it hit by a cyclist !!

Can anyone take a photo of there wiring from the fan and thermoswitch for me please so I can see where all the wire should go. Thanks john

ok thanks, I just have a connecter that comes from the fuse/relay( 3 pin big wires), then its been chopped and spliced into the temp switch on the radiator and also onto the fan, plus a extra fuse connector straight onto the battery. Do you know which relay controls the fan, I wonder if its missing from mine. John

Thanks will have a read through later, did you notice any kind of control unit that make the fan run on after the ignition is turned off John

Charger end on the return feed pipe and does anyone know what size the pipe should be on the return ?

Hi Does anyone know where the wiring goes from the manual override switch for the spoiler ? Mine has the switch but there is no wiring to it !! Spoiler does work at the normal speed.

Hi All Does anyone have a diagram for the cooling fan, according to the Golf manual I was looking at there is a control unit for fan over run, does any one know where this is ? Also I could do with a picture of the engine bay and the wiring of the fan, Mine has been altered from the fuse box with extra relay and none if it works so want to rewire it as standard.

Or do I go and buy a cheap VR6 and use that !

Now not sure what to do, Im already greedy and have 2 Corrados, Ive got a 1.8 16V that was a impulse buy and was accident damage which im in the middle of fixing ! Really like the car but really not fast enough ! After selling my kit car and feeling the 16v was not fast enough I got a VR6 its a early 93 one, but only one previous owner and never been modified at all, even original stereo , set of vw snow chains with it and fully stamped service history mostly VW main Dealer. The body needs a little work few scratches and parking dents but will get it sorted and leave it total original, thus the reason I dont want to use it as my daily drive ! So now I really want a G60, dont care if its been modded as I want it as a daily drive! Should i get one or stick with the 16V once Ive repaired it ??

Hi All The oil temp on the mfa is not working all i get is the dashes which you normally get when the car is warming up, checked the wiring is still connected to the sensor and seems to be ok, is it likely to be the sensor or the mfa unit ?

Hi All I have recently purchased 1993 vr6 with 146k on it, mechanically car has been very well looked after and has full mainly vw history with just 1 previous owner. But what Im getting is a rattle from what seems to be the engine bay at 2400rpm and it seems to happen every time I reach that RPM , is there any common problems that could cause this ? Is it likely to be the timing chain ?

just looked at the service book and found the sticker ! It does say LB5V but the dealer has written in pencil next to it LC3U ! mystery solved ! It was a misprint

Ok once I can uploads the pictures I will post one of the car and the sticker. I've lifted the carpets and seems to be original colour unless the whole car was stripped and sprayed !!

Hi yes I ve looked in the boot and thats where I got the paint code from, the sticker looks original all the other details are correct but that colour does not seem to be listed.

Hi Just picked up a Maroon Corrado 16V yesterday, just looked at paint code its LB5V cant seem to find this listed ! When Ive done a search it comes back as a blue paint code ! So I suspect the car has been painted at some stage. Does anyone know the correct paint code for a Marron Corrado ? Thanks
