Rallye G60 Intercooler Conversion Kit For Corrado For sale I have everything you need to convert your G60 to a Rallye front mounted intercooler. Included are the following: Genuine Rallye Intercooler (better flowing than the Golf G60 item) with all the small modifications required to fit a Corrado. Bartek Tuning U-Bend Bartek Tuning U-Bend Gasket Genuine Rallye Boost Pipework including hard pipe with CO pot mount. This is probably the best intercooler you can get for a G60 and getting harder to find. It drops straight in as if it was suppose to be there. With the Rallye pipework it looks completely factory as well. An install guide can be found here: http://wiki.the-corrado.net/fmic_fitment_guide.html List Date: 9/4/2015 Location: Milton Keynes, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: Rallye G60 Intercooler Conversion Kit For Corrado -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: Rallye G60 Intercooler Conversion Kit For Corrado Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!

1989 Golf Syncro Shell and drivetrain. Looking to move on my long inactive Golf Syncro project. This car would be an ideal donor for anyone wanting to convert a 2wd Golf or Corrado to 4wd as it includes all the bits needed for the conversion. It also includes most of the harder to get hold of parts needed for a Haldex conversion. High tunnel and raised boot floor. Propshaft Rear diff and driveshafts Complete rear suspension (Syncro specific) Fuel tank (Syncro specific) High tunnel carpets Syncro system wiring loom Syncro vacuum system Not included: Engine (90hp 1.8 carb, ie. rubbish) Original gearbox (it was a standard syncro one anyway so useless if you wanted to run more than 150hp) I bought the car as a going concern with the intention of building a fun little sleeper but lost interest and it's sat for approx 2 years. It's tatty but solid with all major rust professionally repaired minus one noticeable bit on the sill. All the panels you'd use for a conversion are solid. Interior is stripped from the car, I'll throw in most of it save for some of the larger bits that can be included for some beer money. I've also got a rake of Rallye parts I collected to fit to this including a complete Rallye drivetrain that can be included for the right price or will be for sale after the shell has sold. As is obvious from the picture this will need to be trailered away, though I may be able to arrange delivery at buyers expense. Looking for ?600ono which I feel is fair based on what buying all these parts individually would cost. Car is located in Milton Keynes zero77zero9780zero258 List Date: 5/16/2015 Location: Milton Keynes, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: 1989 Golf Syncro Shell and drivetrain. -------------------------------------- SOLD --------------------------------------

Yeah it is a shame, it's been a great car to me but unless someone wants to buy it for £2k I'd be daft not to break it. Intercooler is £350 + postage. £50? Keeping the engine whole for now, will let you know if that changes. £80. Can confirm when it is removed but to my knowledge it is yes. -

Any pictures of the syncro at all? -
Thanks. Would only work if you've done away with the side mounted cooler I'm afraid.

Hi guys As part of my apprenticeship I'm doing a course in product design. For this course I basically have to design and make a product with the intention to sell it. My product is a bracket that uses a G60 Corrado's side mounted intercooler mounting points to support a Mocal oil cooler. As part of my market research I've drawn up a questionnaire for any perspective customer. If any G60 owners could fill it out for me it'd be greatly appreciated. http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/GDWK3VT If there's enough interest I may produce a small run. Thanks.

Might've been me depending on which road it was. Was parked a few rows behind a burgundy 'rado with TDI badges at Goodwood Revival yesterday.

Over the jubilee weekend I changed my front disks and pads and fitted new handbrake cables as the old ones were stretched. Since then after a short period of driving there's a metallic knocking/clunking coming from what sounds like the offside rear. The tempo of the noise increases the faster the wheel spins until about 25mph when it stops. The longer I drive for after it starts, the more noticeable it gets. I won't have a chance to get the wheel off and have a look until the weekend so are there any ideas as to what it could be or what to check? Thanks in advance.

The person who text in to Chris Evans this morning about finishing their Corrado restoration on here?

I just meant it's not as bad as rolling as soon as I take my foot off the brake lol. Obviously I'll be replacing the tubes, was just wondering if there may be another problem to fix as well.
-
It's not so bad as that, I can get out the car normally and walk away with out it rolling. I'll just come out the next morning and it'll practically be in the street.
-
Been leaving it in 1st. Look likes I'll have to start annoying the drive-less neighbours and park it in the street.
-
Hi guys. Long story short one of my handbrake cable tubes is split so i can't leave the handbrake on overnight as it'll freeze on. I've been leaving the car in gear as my driveway is sloped but I've come out twice now and found it had rolled down and was blocking the pavement in front of the drive. On further investigation I can roll it down the drive by pushing the front wheel with my feet. I've got a whining clutch release bearing at the moment but the clutch doesn't seem to be slipping, I can put it in 5th at about 15mph, floor it and the revs still take an age to pick up. Any ideas? Is it just the low compression of the engine?

Bump for this Sunday.
