Hi all I'm in need of a whole sunroof mechanism. I would prefer if it's in working order however it's not essential. The main thing is that the material on the inner part of the sunroof is good, no rips/cuts. Also I do not need the motor. Cheers Alex

Ahh disappointing lol, its the aftermarket loom I'm not to keen on its a mess!!! not that you can see it as its behind the dash but I'm funny about things like that :) so I want to convert to manual or like you say source all of the original corrado parts.

Hi all, Ive got an early corrado that was origionally fitted with manual windows but at some point has been fitted with an aftermarket electric window kit. I want to change it back to manuals but I'm having trouble finding the parts so I'm wondering if the mechs are the same as in old golfs or something as there more common in the scrap yards :) Cheers

Hi all, I've tried the search function but I can't find the answer I need. I'm in the middle of wiring in a new alarm that I bought for the C, it's a scorpion SA30. Nothing fancy but it does the trick. Got the remote central locking to work off the fob but the alarm also has a window closure function, and now I'm stuck lol. There is just one wire coming from the alarm. In the fitting instructions it's says 'window closer output (Neg)' and that's it so where would I wire this too or would I need another module to control the windows? Any help would be great, cheers Alex ---------- Post added at 6:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 6:27 PM ---------- There is also a wire that's a negative output when the alarm is armed. Just out of interest could this be used for anything on a corrado? Just wondering because I'm going to remove any unwanted wires to keep it tidy.

Ok thanks, in that case are the early and late looms different? Could mk3 golf looms be used as they seem to be alot easier to get hold of?

Yeah my other corrado had the later front end but I think I prefer the early one, don't know why lol its just grown on me :)

Hi all, just a quick one. Could someone tell me what switches should go where I have blanking covers at the mo in my dash, it's an early one if that makes a difference. There is one to the left of the headlight switch and two in the centre console under the heated rear window and fog light switches. Thanks :)

Cheers for the comments so far :) I'll be sorting the badges soon enough, the chap I had the car off said the wheels also used to be that colour!!! And I like the early bonnet and grill too it's growing on me, it could do with another grill though..... One that I don't have to cable tie in place lol I defiantly agree with you on the plates, it's been added to my to do list. I can't decide what to do with the badges :( I'm going to colour code the 'corrado' badge but not sure if to fit a original silver Vw one to the back, but I'm liking the sound of the black grill badge. You've got a few good ideas so we'll see.

Hi everyone, I've recently started using the forum again as I've picked up my second corrado. Unfortunatly my first one was written off in a accident I had and I've wanted another one ever since. So about the car, its a 1991 1.8 16v, shes just clocked 126k but still pulls like a train :) There is a private plate on the car at the moment I may keep it I'll see, maybe someone might recognize it? I'm happy with the car as its all solid in the right places, theres just a few areas on the body work that could do with some attention, I'll be dealing with those soon enough when the weather picks up!! Since owning her the only thing I've done except a good clean is lower the front slightly more as it didn't quite look right. The mods so far that came with the car are coilovers, they look like JOM ones but I'm not 100% on that, and a set of alloys painted white, the wheels fit in the aches quite nicely so they will be staying for now. And the rear badges have been painted fluorescent yellow which isn't quite to my taste lol. Anyway so heres a couple of pics so far, hope you all like.

As above, that's the problem I've come across, I know the Seats have red interior lights, maybe an old one has the same heater controls? Surely there must be a way lol, no one tried this before?

I did think that but the filter is part of the whole plastic strip if that makes sence so I can't see how just the green filter can be removed. I'll get a pic up later to show what I mean.

Hi all, I'm currently in the process of changing all of my interior lights from green to red. I've done all of the switches by removing the green filters and soldering in red LED's it seems to have worked spot on. But now I'm stuck with the heater controls, I don't think it would be as bad if I had a later corrado but mines an early one with the slider controls. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can do this? Cheers Alex

Hi, I'm after the centre console panel from an early corrado. Preferably with as little damage as possible around the hole for the cd player. I'll pay postage but am more than willing to collect as long as its not the other side of the country lol. Cheers Alex
