hi, not been on here in ages as ive not had a raddo!! (i had a 1.8 16v ages ago)but ive just sold my 3rd scriocco and been offerd a nice vr6 for a bargain price :) i was just wondering what the mpg is for them (real world, not what the inertnet says) im thinking it cant be as bad as my old a4 2.8 30v v6 quattro, which did low 20's round town and just 30 on a run!! thanks rich

1, i have no spleen (long story) 2, i find it easer to left foot brake and nearly failed my test because of it 3, ive been in intensive care for 6 weeks and had Hyperpyrexia (body temp of 40.0–41.5 °C, norm is 36.5–37.5 °C)

cool, cheers for the info, im off to see one on thurs and im gonna ring the bloke about the other :) do they run the same injection system as the 2.0 16v? theres a mk3 golf abf in my local scrap yard. so if i got the abf, could i run the same fueling system and just change over the running gear? ---------- Post added at 10:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:58 PM ---------- i would be but your 300+ miles away :(

hi, not been on here since i sold my raddo last year. im missing it so im gonna buy another one :) the ones near me and within my budget are 2.0 8v, are these as bad as ive herd? my last one was a early (g reg) kr on bike carbs :) im just thinking that the 8v might be a feel a bit slow? what do you guys know about them? rich

i dont really have the money to go for some proper fast road/ track pads so am i just best off with some standard ones? I just thought about greens as they arnt much more than standard?

is it worth getting some ebc greens? I need to replace all pads and discs and i was just wondering do they make a diffrence? Ive never driven anything with them.

At least it wasn't some undercautious twit who had crashed killing a few innocent people causing an even longer tailback. Thats true, as about a hour later the same bit of road i was on was closed due to a crash! The road is more or less straight and lit up!!

im all for driving safe but ive just been stuck behind a d**k doing 10mph on a lit, busy and grited 60mph road! And she had the balls to flash me when i over took her. Some people shouldnt be let out. sorry rant over

was out with my frends last night, i was in my mates mk4 golf he came to a corner and went straight on in to a nice big ditch! No one was hurt and no windows went. He rang the aa to come get him out but they dont cover bad weather crashes! Hes gone back this morn to get a tractor to drag him out. Anyone else crashed or seen any?

they look nice ive been thinking about doing a simler thing with a 2lt 8v vauxhall engine i blew 2 holes in the crank case :norty: one less vauxhall on the road :)

i under stand what you mean, ive not been on here long so dont realy know anyone. im going down the bike carb route now for deffo so dont need to borrow it anymore, thanks for the offer though :clap: got the carbs set up and the manifold is gonna be ready by the weekend :D :D :D
