  1. Ok so my valver don't wanna start at the mo so thinking coil problem so I got a new one got distracted by a phone call while taking old one off now I can't remember which wires went to the pos and neg terminals. I'm assuming the 2blacks go to negative on the coil and the green and the red with black line go to positive, is this correct please someone help me
  2. cool that sounds ok, is it in good condition or has it been chopped about?
  3. hello everyone, after driving my valver for a little while now ive come to the conclusion that it is pretty gutless so i have decided to drop a 20vt lump into it as i managed to swap an abf for a complete tt lump and now after trudging through the interweb trying to work out how the rear engine mount drivers side fits i have given up and decided to ask, do u have to fabricate your own mount as the 20 vt mounts towards the inner wing so i cant see it fitting to my original mounting point on sub frame can someone please point me in the right direction as its doing my head in now, cheers in advance
  4. yeah i just gotta finda place local that can sort camber adjustment
  5. lower arms with poly bushes, what a pain in the arse that was, and track ontrol arm and track rod ends replaced which was the easiest job eith my diy tool :D
  6. well after a weekeend of work new lower arms poly bushes track control arm and track rod ends, and she is now a hundred times better, still not as good as i like, as it still feels a bit sloppy but i am happier with the car now just got to clean the throttle body get it laser lined cos so far its only tracked with a diy kit and get a new exhaust next
  7. Im sure once i got the handling all sorted ill love it, plus on the up side the spoiler coming up and down is awesome
  8. just buy complete arms with new bushes already in then all u gotta do is switch the lower ball joints onto the new arms
  9. yeah i know there is gonna be the odd problem as i have found with my mk2 golf ive been doing up its just a pain in the a##e at the moment as im off work on the sick, luckily i been working on vw's for years so i can do all the work myself, im sure once the new lower arms and track rod arms/ ends are on it and all tracked up properly it will be fine as for the stereo we took the lower part and the glove box out and still struggled
  10. dont worry it will be a good one by the time im finished, just means my golf will be on the back burner for the minute
  11. well so far i have been driving it for 2 days and it is the worst handling car i have ever driven due to sloppy steering, and where the car has been bodged up over the years, replaced ball joints for mot and noticed lower arm bushes are shot so now got new lower arms and poly bushes to go in, went to get the tracking done to find out someone had cut the locking nut off with a grinder and hit the threads so cant track it, now i have bought a new track control arm and tie rod ends which i have to fit which is bound to be a pain, and i also found the bushes that attach suspension to top mounts were missing so had to replace them, and my alpine stereo wont fit in the dash cos it has to many connections and gets caught did i do the wrong thing buying a corrado???
  12. what condition are the front wings in and will they fit a 1990 corrado cheers
  13. Are they Mk3 golf Hubs?
  14. drive the car down the road and swing it from side to side so it transfers all the weight onto one side each time it u get a drone or it gets louder when u do that u probably got a wheel bearing going
