As in the title ;-) I have an early type N/S passenger wing, a few small dints and a very small amount of surface rust. Collection from Swansea or surrounding areas preferred. £25. If you require postage, please email me at [email protected] for a price. Cheers!

So it could well be an early wing in green! Thanks!
-
Hi guys, looking to buy a n/s early wing, seen one online and been assured it came of a 'G' or a 'H' reg car which would make it an early one right? Only Problem that it is green, I thought that the only corrados that came in green were late ones finished in Dragon Green. Can anyone confirm this? Can you get an early corrado in green?

Need an early wing for my rado' Passenger (n/s). In Aqua blue would be delightful. Any colour ok though. Dont mind scratches but dont want any dents. Thanks My number 07980002273 Email. [email protected]

Very Late reply here, Still no clearer on what these values mean.... So 1) is ? 2) Is? 3) IDLE? 4) Is? 5) Boost Reading? 7) Is? Anyone know the answers?
-
Thanks for the replys guys. Checked out everyting you have mentioned but everything is fine! Dont know what the hell it is. I compensated and made the o/s rear on 10mm higher and the car then looked level, for a while, now the o/s rear has magically dropped down again?! Very strange. Im confused. And annoyed.
-
Ended up replacing the master cylinder, and had some joy! Pedal now light and a smooth gear change. Result!
-
Right, tried bleeding, no joy. Changed the slave cylinder and re-bled, no joy. Clutch pedal still sticking to the floor and getting worse :( Does this mean that its the master clutch cylinder? The one that looks horrible to change in that small gap. Any other possibilities before i replace the master cylinder?
-
I dont fill up! Haha, these prices Im lucky to get £20 in, not more than 14 litres that. Surely that wouldnt weight it down that much?

EVerything seems as it should be. And after taking her out for a drive earlier there were no unusual noises occurring. If the damper has collapsed would there be any leakage? Would I notice anything by doing the old MOT damper test? Ill have another look at the springs but under inspection earlier they all seemed fine, they are only a few days old!!

Fitted my coilovers the other day (FK AK Street) cheap kit i know, but all the bank would let me have! Anyway, fitted them all and measured exactly the distance from bottom of threads to the first securing ring with vernier calipers so that they would be an equal ride height all round..... Which they were for about a week. Then the other day i heard this strange noise from the back and all of a sudden the O/S rear one had dropped about 10mm. I investigated but couldnt see anything wrong at all. No leaking, no damage to springs, no damage to rear beam or bushes, none to top mounts or to securing rings. Ive now raised the O/S rear one 10mm to compensate and this has visually made it equal again but surely this cant be right? The N/S left is set to 15mm from bottom of threads to first securing ring and the O/S 25mm. Strange?! Whats going on??

GSF the best place? ---------- Post added at 08:33 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:28 PM ---------- Didnt see your post 16vg60 before it refreshed. So you would investigate this before just replacing it? Thanks for your input, shall have a go at that first. But as I asked above, is GSF the best place for one of these resin ones? I read somewhere that they are genuine items with the part numbers ground off, fact or fiction?
-
roger that! Thanks!
-
Its definitely the original part, it has the vw part number and its painted black. You would only recommend changing first? There are no leaks whatsoever. Shall I try bleeding or is it almost certain that its on its way out?
-
thanks for the reply. Is this the cylinder on the gearbox or behind the pedals? ---------- Post added at 12:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:32 AM ---------- That'll be the one on the box! Just had a look in the manual. Ive inspected mine, theres no leaks anywhere and the brake fluid reservoir is full. Could it still mean that the slave cylinder is gone? Or is it worth bleeding the system first to see if theres air in the system? How do I go about bleeding it? Use the nipple on the slace cylinder then depress and release the clutch while someone else tightens and loosens the bleed nipple for me? Like when bleeding brakes?

Lately on my G60 the clutch pedal seems to be sticking to the floor alot! Not all the time but enough to annoy me. Its mainly when parking or when the clutch is getting alot of use. The bite point becomes very low and then the pedal wont return to its normal position without me pulling it back up. I have no Idea about clutches or hydraulic systems for that matter. Anyone know what this could be? What I should investigate first? Thanks

thanks for the advice guys. I have a standard air box that will go back on now. It does however have a K&N panel filter in it. Shall I bin this and revert back to the paper type filter? Or is this ok if I look after it?
-
Anyone help me? I have a Jetex cone filter, one of them massive jobbies from Jabba sport. Anyway, without having to buy the cleaning kit that Jetex offers are there any other alternatives? I already have a K&N cleaning kit, of which the cleaner will work fine, but when it comes to oiling the filter, the oil in the K&N kit is red. Not good on a blue filter, unless you want a yukky colour filter, which i do not. Is any filter oil okay to use? For example, Shell filter oil..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SHELL-ADVANCE-FILTER-OIL-FOAM-AIR-FILTER-OIL-1-x-300-ml-/370264827799?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item563580e797#ht_1676wt_907 or say, castrol filter oil http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/CASTROL-FOAM-AIR-FILTER-OIL-SPRAY-/290534976498?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item43a53bebf2#ht_1448wt_907 Or does anyone have any recommendations? Are there any clear oils out there that i can use on my bright blue filter? Or any other blue oils which dont cost £20 plus?? While were on the subject.... Alot of people have told me that having this massive air filter is just sucking in alot of hot air. Which we all know is not good. We all also know that the corrado G's do run very hot, so this statement kinda makes sense. Anyone else want to add their opinion? Is the air filter doing more harm than good? Or are my sources just telling me a load of hot air?? So to speak. (sorry, had to get it in there.) :D

Right, so back in work in work today with access to some proper tools! Whipped the old dremel out and had another crack at grinding these shoulders. Had to take a fair bit off, with a bit of trial fitting and grinding i eventually took enough off so that the blades now touch the screen throughout the complete sweep! RESULT! Stoked now that i have wipers that work. Thanks everyone for their input and help :salute:
-
Right, I tried to grind down the shoulders, its only made the problem worse than it was in the first place! How much am I supposed to take off?! Need to get this sorted now as they don't wipe the screen at all!!
-
:notworthy: Thanks! I think I know what I'm going to be looking for now when I have a captain cook this evening! I'm running lupo gti wipes but I'm assuming that they have the same problem as mine are not touching the screen throughout the whole sweep. Ill let you know how I get on so we can solve the wiper problem for everyone, for good! Thanks
-
I tried swapping them but that didnt work!! This shoulder theory sounds interesting but sorry to be a dunce, Im not sure I understand what the hell you mean?!! Any chance of some pics? to dumb it down for me! :confused4: Thanks!

Bought my rado g60 few weeks back. When I first had it the original wipers were rubbish as expected. With the passenger blade not even touching the screen!! So with a trip to the local stealers, and a 80 quid lighter wallet I had two new lupo gti drivers side wiper arms and a set of lupo aero blades. After fitting I noticed that only the drivers side was wiping properly and the passenger side was missing the screen in the middle of the blade! So not much better really. I took them apart and realised the two 22mm nuts holding the mechanism to the scuttle were not as tight as they should be. So I nipped these up tight and that seemed to solve the problem. Just got in today went to wipe my screen and now the passenger side is missing the screen again, like its not being held tight to the screen, and now the drivers side is missing a bit on the way back down!! Not happy. I can't tighten them up anymore they are as tight as can go! Anyone else had this problem? Or know how to remedy it?

Done a bit more research and this is actually a power steering oil cooler! Guess thats out of the question then, or would this provide adequate cooling for the engine oil? If mounted where it would get plenty of air flow?
