These are for a Corrado, im unaware if they fit anything else though.
I have a pair of brand new rear disks, bearings pushed in with the ABS things on ready to go on the car, amazingly I did an uber stupid and did all this before realising they were 5 stud disks and my cars a 4 stud (bare in mind all this cost me 50 quid for parts so this is a really good deal)
So that sucks abit
Also have a pair of front disks that have done roughly 20 miles so still in near perfect condition.
I got them off a guy who was breaking a VR6 as a spur of the moment thing as i was getting a bumper off him and just didnt think to check what stud they were. they cost me 40 quid for the set and about 50 more for the bearings etc so im a bit out of pocket which is annoying, make me a decent offer and they're yours, I live near Bath/Bristol but i on occasion travel to Birmingham Devon and Basingstoke
If your interested PM me or give me a ring, i would prefer not to post them. 07818518147

could you not just drill into the stuck thread with a small drill bit, tap a small screw driver into it and unscrew the threaded bit?Just need a new aerial then
The thread isnt stuck, ive snapped the part that the aerial screws into, out of the base, so ive broken the base. The actual aerial is probably perfectly re-usable.

Have you not tried vw for this it might be a very cheap part , not promising but vw's parts are very hit and miss !! Some things are a rip off but some are very well priced ! Id give them a try for a brand spankeryeh they just quoted me 84 quid something.... like ****.....

Haha, thats a good one that Matt... I went to buy a new gasket because mine was shot, the conversation went like this (or what I interpreted it as):"hi, I'm after a gasket for the aerial"
"right ok, I'll just have a look... In the meantime he's some lube, I'll just double check this price"
"...."
"yea, you can't buy the gasket on its own, you have to buy the base as well, the base is £70"
needless to say I passed on that one.
But in response to the Haribo which one do you want? Late or early? Early has the big aerial wire and an earth, late only has the aerial wire. I have both, £7 posted?
Ah sweet, im after the late one, give us a bell and wel sort it?

+++cheers dude, twas about 4 quid :)Here is the panel off and separated. The white section clips into the panel using the two prongs at the end, the black outer section fits onto this with the clips in the centre. The LED just slides into place in the white section and is held in place by the black section. The main beam warning light has a smaller white "Head" on it which fits inside the blue filter cover shown by itself, this just pushes into the black section. Apparently at the time they couldn't make bright enough blue light so they used a white one with a blue filter One thing to note is that there is a deliberate kink in one of the LED legs. This is to ensure correct polarity when ffitting so make a note of which leg has the kink when you remove the old one. Out of curiosity how much do VW charge for the replacement? -
just phoned VW with that order number and ive got one on the way for friday, cheers guys :)

ok thanks, anyone able to clarify that? :)

the little blue one on the clocks just stopped working, what goes into changing this?

Ive done a search and I couldnt find all the details I wanted.
My corrado has rear passat handles on them, they were there when I got it so I dont know what went into changing them,
Now my drivers side has stopped working from the outside and has gone all loose from the door. both sides have always been a bit stiff.
So far I have gathered that the passat ones are different, but I dont know what bit cause ive never had corrado ones to compare them with.
I was gonna get that repair kit that dude makes from here but he doesnt make passat ones.
so anyway, thats the situation, my question is what actually goes into changing from corrado to passat handles cause I dont know if I should be :
a- buying some sort of repair kit
b- buying more passat handles (but I dont know if they need modifying once I get them)
c- just getting a corrado set which doesnt sit well with me cause the locks wont match (whether I use them or not, just an OCD thing)
Its getting annoying getting in my passenger door :/

il take a set :) i cant open my door from the outside now, its odd, its come away from the door abit too. when i try to open it, it sort of gets stuck out and i have to push it back in. sound about right? il buy a set either way, seems a good thing to have around. :)

My drivers door handle has broken on the inside, its a lockless one so ideally ide like one of those but I would consider a pair of normal ones.

Dam, i ended up buying one, although its also the wrong colour, ide still buy a blue one if anyone has one to avoid having to spray the dam thing :)
-
Some knob-ed give me a hit and run whilst I was parked in a car park, not too happy so im gonna need a new bumper.. lovely..
Anyone got one? Im at bristol dub fest this weekend, long shot I know

after one or a pair, nearside mostly needed, no rust or dents :)
-
im thinking 100 quid tops for a pair is more than reasonable, some of the sets ive come across have been goign for 80 but one dude wanted 80 for one
-
that depends what I want to pay
ive found 4 sets so far, 3 sets were a fair price but either too far away or not willing to post, and the last set were dramatically over priced in my opinion. twice as much as the other sets I have come across. time will tell :/ its not a huge deal, its only where there has been mud flaps and its got rusty down the bottom, ide sooner get them fixed them spray another set.
-
I really dont wanna spend out on getting them sprayed.

Brake disks, front and back, rears include bearings and ABS things
in Parts for Sale

they are the make that you get from APD, vetech I think its called? the bearings were obtained my my mate who works in a skoda garage so I imagine they are either VW parts or as good as, my mate is a very picky mechanic.
as for what i want for them, well, they cost me 50 quid to buy from a guy who was breaking his corrado and hadnt put them on yet, the front ones were on for about 20 miles but the back ones never left the box until i go them. I didnt realise I had to buy more parts for them before they could go on the car so that was a further 50 quid.
The way i see it to buy what im offering it would cost whatever it costs for disks + the 50 quid I spent on the other parts + the labour to add the parts.
As they are, they are ready to go on a car, just not mine cause of the stud issue![:p](http://the-corrado.net/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png)
Im happy to let them go for 60 quid which I think is awesome considering.
Your in wesbury yeh? I live in corsham, near chippenham :)
