    G60 help

I picked up my G60 six months ago from a friend for dirt cheap. What i didn't know at the time was all of the bugs it has! I'm hoping someone on here can help :thumbleft: my oil light intermittently comes on, not to any pattern that i've noticed. I can drive it two weeks with out the annoying beep-beep and light flashing, park it for fifteen mins and its flashing again. This may sound a bit odd but i've found when i rev it up in the area of 3k the beeping stops. That only makes it stop half of the time though. I checked charging system, connections etc and noticed its seen better days. I've done what i can for the best connection for now. but still that flashing red light returns! My MFA, sometimes says 1 or 2... What does that mean??? oiutside temp reads -40 degrees ,F my oil temp at 320 degress F. I assume means the system is open somewhere or bad sensor. my mpg guage sits aound 8 when idle and 14 when around town... pretty disappointing. But now the display reads from 6 mpg until it hits 99.9 mpg. I know its not possible to get that kind of fuel mileage out of such and old car, unless i was falling off a mountain with a tail-wind. How do i fix it? AND it gets better! Whenever i park my car for the night, i lose all stereo presets.. the stereo won't even turn on until its been running 30 mins or more. All of my digital odometer readings read 0, come to think of it my analog odometer won't go past 50 on the trip meter. So cold start means: no stereo, flashing oil light, idle @ 1500 rpm, and all MFA readings are WACK! I took the car to the dealership, the guy there said my cluster may have a broken or damaged gear inside of it, but he can't find anyone to tune or repair it in the US or Canada. Is this true?? :bonk: The high idle was from a bad coolant temp senso + from an after market charger i guess so the idle stabilizer has to be unplugged... kinda weird. VW spec oil helps with the annoying oil light but doesn't fix it. Any help would be great! The dealership in my area just went bye bye so i'm trying to wing it for now
