  1. It never happened. Still one very careful previous owner.
  2. Still being well looked after by JKM. Spot the differences
  3. From seller today: "Its all gone the guy came took it out gave me £1000 cash mate"

  5. Did agree a sale for last summer, but fell through, so still tucked away in the garage. So who wants (can afford)? I agree with the rest, its a bit specialist and wish JKM were just round the corner.

    Low Miler VR

My previous car before buying Shaun's. I regretted selling my Mystic Corrado Storm 6 years ago (40,000 miles) and as I was unable to buy it back (tried), sourced this car instead in 2009. Effectively I was the second owner although the V5 showed two (company name & then actual owner). I sold it to the current seller. It was myself who sorted out getting the bodywork/paintwork looking mint which did seem to eventually entail a virtual full respray as it had some bumper scratches, small knocks & scrapes, usual stone chips etc. The roof and tail gate were not resprayed except spoiler, everything else was. Cost was close to £3,000 and more than I initially anticipated. I just wanted it perfect! The engine bay was a little cleaner when I first purchased! The car was serviced, new battery, water pump and cam belt, new smaller front chin spoiler and anything else as required. Just after getting the car fully sorted, can you believe it, I was offered my original Storm back! Therefore without really getting a chance to use this car I sold it to buy my original Storm back, but somewhere along the line I got sidetracked and tempted by Shaun's beast of a car. A friend bought my original Mystic Storm (currently 45,000 miles) and still has it for now. I hope that helps to explain some of the whats and whys, for those interested.
  10. OSV offered me a price I couldn't refuse. Besides those currently on, I still have left: BBS 301's (thanks Jim, will try your recommendation) ABT 17x7.5 (BBS if look closely) Porsche Cup 1's 17x7 (RS2's) Can't complain really I do have the matching rear seats, just too lazy to fit! Just managed to pick up a full air con system. Problem is that the fitter I trust is down Portsmouth way. Need to find someone closer. ---------- Post added at 11:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:11 PM ---------- Over to Shaun for where to source the 6 speed. Can't remember seeing the receipt. Its not illuminated!
  11. Couple of pics with the Recaro seats & Momo steering wheel.
  12. Car MOT and taxed earlier this year along with a full service. Such a hassle sorting out the UK first registration, as took four visits to the local DVLA (wont be able to pop in soon as all closing!). Only plus point was the import VAT & duty total of £88.00 (based on their calculation, not mine). Also eventually sorted out fitting some electric Recaro's and a quick release Momo sterring wheel (pics to follow). Fitted new front wheel arch liners, due to cut outs to accommodate previous CH's Little bit of preventative remedial paintwork done, where I think the previous BBS CH's had marginally touched the front wheel arch bottom edge. Not much else to report except to say the car is tucked up under cover away from any nasty road salt for the winter attached to a CTEK charger. Need to get set of BBS 301's refurbed, as not happy with wrong wheel bolts, surface finish or original paint on centers. Any good recommendations for the Midlands area?
  13. Thanks for advice (pete_griff). Yes will post any changes Re 4WD. Yes agree complex and time consuming. Unlikely will do. Probably prefer some air conditioning over 4WD. Engine work. I use www.AVPerformance.co.uk for all my engine work and pretty much everything else. Only problem is getting the car in. Ramps currently booked until back end of July! Maybe when they move to new larger unit, I can just park car up inside and collect when everything sorted, that would be nice. Almost forgot have a nice Momo quick release removable steering wheel & boss to fit. Intercooler & Battery (lightweight) move idea is mainly to make boot stock & useable, as also has a water cooling tank currently and so a bit small. Intercooler will give the space for the battery and maybe a larger washer bottle if can't fit back standard. Washed car for first time and have to say the bodywork & finish is 99.99999% perfect. Going to be a challenge to keep it to Shaun's standard. Need to find out how & what Shaun used (apart from spray gun).
  14. Not too much really as Shaun has done such a good job. Suggestions welcome Sort out bits for an MOT: Washer bottle back in & connect pipes. Green flashing rear indicator bulbs (currently original so flashing red) High performance Cat as none currently Monday Electric Recaro seats (in the garage) Adjust suspension set up for me Future Intercooler so can put boot back to standard Move battery back to engine bay Porsche front brakes (Boxter S In the garage) possibly. I'm impressed with the Audi TT brakes on car Audioscape enclosers/focal speakers Rear speakers as none currently Uprate full beam Considered, but unlikey Gas flow and port engine & strenghen some engine parts Have considered 4WD, but not sure Question does a UK Mot require white light rear reverse light as none currently due to tinting?
  15. Which Andy is this? I'll put my hand up
