hi guys i have a corrado g60 and the engine is pretty standard i have carried out the boost return delete, changed the plugs and leads etc... i was wondering the best ways to increase power? chip and pully is looking a good option? any help would be awsome. cheers in advance steve.

just arrived home from work and as i turned off the engine the fan kicked in and was running for a while is this normal? surely it should start when the engine temp is getting high? as it does go up over 90c also sounded as if there was some sort of air leak noise from the engine while the fan was running. as soon as i put the ignition on it all stopped? confused me really :scratch: also.... if the engine is started cold it idles fine untill correct temp... if i drive it for a while then stop, turn the engine off and back on it will rev up to 1100 rpm and down untill it nearly cuts out, and does this for about 10 seconds untill it find its idle spot just under 1000rpm any help would be much appreciated thanks in advance steve...

hey guys. as show season is on its way thought id change some stuff around on car. i want to clean my wheels up as they are looking a bit dull..... i am going to respray the centers but want to polish up the lips anyone know the best way to do it? i have had a look on the net for ways and the 3m pads are looking the best at the moment... cheers in advance!

hey guys i have done the boost deleat mod to the g60! but i am unsure where i can purchase wurth PTFE spray i have searched all over the internet and i am still stuck to find any. Has any one got a link to where i can get some from cheers in advance. :thumbleft:

its got a manifold back 3" longlife system sounds nice=) yea im not sure on the pully yet. i havent looked into haha it is the original colour but it has had a spray and a good polish every week

i haven't done any thing major to it yet just little bits like boost return delete, k&n induction. i have been just getting it running properly tbh. when the funds are here im going to chip and put a smaller pully on it coil overs and new wheels.

Hi been a member for a while but only now getting around to start a project thread so here goes.. my own custom dust caps :geek: this is how she stands at the moment.. i am in the middle of getting new wheels as im not to happy with the borbet's but i am confused what to get!:scratch:

hey guys spent allday on the corrado yest fitting the new pully and timing belt. started her up and its missing real bad is this down to the ignition timing? i haven't moved the ignition timing at all and assumed it would be ok?

cheers dude glad i caught it when i did. has this solved most of your problems? like mpg running warmer than usual etc... thanks again yan thought this was going to be an expensive fix.

hey guys ive found the problem! lucky really! The pin on the crank pully has gone compleatly and was running on a small bit of the woodrif key just need to find a crank pully any1 know where from?

i have checked the crank bolt and it seems fine. has anyone had timing problems as if it has jumped a tooth? it missfire's and is really hesitant. once i fitted the coolant sensor yest let the engine warming up and took it for a run it was hesitant all the way to 4000 revs then it boosted to 6000?

i live in south wales i have got it booked it to a vw specialist by me just wanted to know if there is anything quick to change which maby causes this fault? cheers

hey guys. my g60 has running problems i was told yesterday to get a coolant sensor. i have fitted a new sensor but still not pulling properly. the car will rev but when coming to idle it nearly cuts out every time? it will start first time every time and rev on the spot with no hesitation. but when it is under load there is no power it wants to rev and will get to 6000 revs but its nothing like it was last week i have checked my air filter, dizzy cap, leads, spark plugs, compression test and all have come back fine there is no leaks in my pipe work for the charger and the charger seems to be fine. any help would be great cheers steve.

yea checked the pipe its all ok. what do u mean by throttle switchs? sound stupid lol

thanks guys! when i perchased the car the guy said it had a new charger back in december? i have the paper work for it to and it does look new i have checked for leaks in the pipe work and there is nothing?? when i put my foot down to accelerate it just dies do u think it could of sliped on the timing belt?? thanks steve

hey, any help would be great-full. I was driving on the motorway yesterday, stopped to meet with friends, and a loud knocking noise came from the engine! I turned it off and checked the oil it was on min. I toped it up but it was still doing it. i drove to work this morning and it was knocking when i arived aprox 3miles away. i started the car this afternoon and it was fine no knocking! but when im driving, there feels as if there is no boost but it feels if it wants to boost im confused :scratch: any help would be great steve
