I would buy one and look at the bigger picture and do it up slowly! I don't use mine very much and it's going to be a long project! I have thought of getting rid a few times now, but every time I drive it I love it! Admiral insure me on my rado vr for £680 and I have 1 years ncb!

I was in the same boat as you bud, been a vaux nut for years! Had 5 astra's! Then decide to take the plunge and buy a 20 year old rado vr6! Mainly because they sound the nuts! I ended up rushing because I had money burning a hole in my pocket and bought a bit of a lemon! Just do a lot of research and take time to view and don't rush! Mine was a costly mistake around a grand to sort the engine :(

No, on the drivers side I have a black cover that covers all the electrics and the adjustable knob for the head light does that make sence?

Has anyone on here got a dub power 6 branch? I was looking on eBay and the have stainless 6 branches for £160 but am wondering if the dub power one is worth the £330? Cheers Rob

Right just had a quote of £1000 to fit the 2.8 highline golf engine and odb2 in to my C, is that a good price? that includes the engine ;)

The donor car is a 2.8 odb2 car which will be 190 bhp due to the Ecu But yeah if I run it with my cars odb1 it will be 170 :(

That stitching is done in the early Audi tt!

The subframes on the vr won't allow you to fit a 20vt, I already looked into it, it's far easier to put a 20vt in a g60 or valver ;)

Dont buy a DA for a C paint work they are not upto the job! they are safer to use as a novice but a rotary gets better results faster! I personally use 3m polish but i have heard that scholl concepts are the new up and coming water based polish! they are ment to break down better and get good results! http://www.schollconcepts-store.eu/
