Euro car parts and with the 25% discount code it worked out under £150

The console is black and it was both the top part and bottom part that fits onto the centre of the floor. Hope my lame description is good enough. The four plastic mounts are snapped from years of aggressive handbraking. The handbrake seemed to migrate towards the driver and obv started catching the centre consloe damaging it in the process. Prob a common thing. Thanks ill take a look on e-bay

Scottish Meet - Calling all Scot's!!
fishmaestro replied to Alex_G60_Fanatic's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Just seen the potential meet and will be up in that area on the 16th. If it happens on that date you can count me in for sure. Never been to one before and would be quality to meet up with some other Rado owners. Mike -
Been doing a few odd jobs on my K reg 93' Rado and was looking for a few bits. R/H Fog/Indicator both parts. Drivers side door panel speaker, was looking for an original even though they are'nt the best. Centre Plastic console directly behind the Gearstick and the handbrake handle cover. Looking for parts with no or little defects. Any info would be sweet Cheers Mike

Fiited a ECP Radiator this week without taking the bumper and slam panel off and had no problems at all. Prob a bot more fiddly though and took a couple of hours. Worth getting various new screws and some plumbing tape for the sensor connector. Poss a new rubber o ring for the elbow connector as well if it seems perished. Other than that all good Mike

I am also after a Vr6 Radiator. What was the general consenus with the europarts non original part? It's non urgent but more preventative than anything its looking a bit tired and the veins are crumbling at the front. Any Gen would be greatly appreciated

Your in the right area about work sucker, but its my pal that lives in Norwich so that has no bearing on being in fife and I do get in the air from time to time unlike your crazy bad self. Ha ha. Nice area though ---------- Post added at 05:54 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:51 PM ---------- Further in-land from pittenweem/anster but do enjoy the chippy there. Name has no connections to the sea lol. Surname is Fisher, so no great tale of how i arrived at that nickname. Sorry for any dissappointments :-)

Thanks, not sure how much longer I'll be in Scotland but there does seem to be a good few owners. Always good for networking and discussing the Rado issues. Hopefully get some contacts for improving/maintaining the motor.

Thanks Jim Going with the disc first and hopefully no more metallic warbling

Recently bought a Vr6 from my mate down in Norwich and I had a long and enjoyable ride up to Fife. He did'nt want to part with it but he is emmigrating and also did'nt like the idea of any major problems arising with the car, can be awkward selling to friends. Absolutely lovely motor but already encountered some problems. My bonnet came back steaming after a ride out recenltly and feared the worst ( Gasket gone) but luckily I traced the fault to a spring leak out of one the coolant hoses, phewy. This site has already proved useful obtaining a spare hose from a forum user ( thank you tonedef ). Also I have posted the annoying wheel noise fault on the forum and had some positive feedback. Hope to get this sorted within a week as it doesnt sound too bad. Also possibly looking a getting some bubbling spots on the paintwork sorted so if anyone in Fife or nearby happens to know the best and cheapest options then send us a reply with some good info. Cheers Mike

Ok thanks for the advice, The other noticeable feature of this fault is vibration the the steering wheel when braking so I don't know if this is related or helps with any diagnosis. Mike

Thanks for the reply. The disc is fairly new but i think it warrants being replaced as the first exclusion, then go from there I guess. I'll post again if I dont get anywhere or find anything of interest. Cheers Mike

Seem to have a consistent noise coming from the front right wheel. The sound is metallic but not bearing like. The noise stops as soon as the brakes are applied. I removed the wheel to inspect and noticed the countersunk screw for the disc has sheared off. Will this screw cause the disc to move causing the noise or is that screw just for guidance. If not any clues, was thinking warped disc or pad rubbing?
