Sorry guys! haven't been on the forum much except when looking through classifieds! Been kind of busy with constant work, Its going quite well, Not quite secured with cableties though! Ive got 1 or 2 holding parts together that have no brackets or screws. The rest is bolted in firm and not moving. The original clocks are staying in for a little while until I get an a4 b6 engine swap (near future) Handbrake is secured in the center and all looks very nice. I guess I am going for the less Retro look! hahaha, I think newer dashes look much nicer, and it almost-fits so I thought I would give it a go. Will try to keep everybody posted in the near future i guess. Pictures should be up soon, moving house this week though so might be a few days.

Have everything from a corrado dash, including glovebox etc. only things missing are the brackets to secure it into the front of the car, and the rear bin in the center. Got all the metal at the back of it. need more specifics just let me know. £40? not quite sure what these go for

I'm so glad I live around the corner from this, one beautiful Corrado. so glad you started a post just to let these guys have a look at it! Good luck with future mods ;)

Wow, Thanks a lot for finding that :) I will have a look later on when i get home :) (at work now, all the pictures are blocked:( ) I am very excited about all of this, I would love a spare A4 to rip all the parts out of and stick in the Corrado! but im only 19 and don't have that much money haha! awesome, I'm glad you have been able to point me in the right direction mate, cheers! Also I have no idea whether its CANBUS or not :( Ryan

Thanks a lot! that does help a bit, even though i've already started :') I was asking about the clocks, how do they connect up? both the same? or very different? I'll get wiring diagrams and have a look later on too. Thanks Ryan

Hi guys, I am fitting an audi A4 Clocks to my Corrado 1.8. I was wondering if anybody had any idea of how to do this? if it will work etc. I am going to give it a go anyway, but just in case anybody has any ideas on how to do it, I thought i might aswell ask Thanks Ryan :) Edit : Missing info (was asking about clocks)
-
I'm not going to lie, I have absolutely no idea what will happen with the clocks! :( im just going to wait until they arrive to see what happens with them :) scary stuff I know but i will have a good go at putting them in! lol. Center fits quite well, had to make a few modifications underneath to get it to fit in. moved the handbrake a bit (took us about 4 hours lol) and made some holes to secure it down. this is my first time undertaking a time consuming project of this sort so I think im not doing too bad. tomorrow im going to go for maybe an hour, see if we can fit the dash on top of the center for now.
-
It fits around the screen perfectly in my opinion! I am going there in about half an hour. Doors are right next to the dash so I will have to cut the door cards back and fibre glass over them :)
-
Oh yeah man! I was looking at it, such beauty inside :) that was the first step, there isnt anything behind it that can hold it down, so tomorrow i am going to put the center in and see where it goes from there, probably going to have to put something inside the back to hold it there (not sure of what yet though) guess ill just figure that out tomorrow :)
-
Yes f course ill keep you updated :) went for a small test fit today and it seems to fit quite well! ill upload a picture in the next post :)
-
Me too! I have been contemplating getting a new dash but wasnt sure until this came along. Tonight will show whether it fits etc, what mods i need to do so we shall see :)
-
YES! That makes me feel great knowing that it will fit!! which dash do you have? I have a B6 one, i believe from a 2003. Do you guys have any pictures? or advice on what to do, any help you have would be much appreciated! I have been getting mine ready since around June time, and ive only recently decided to put enough money into it to make it awesome I'm looking forward to it, soooo soo much!! Thanks Ryan

My brother has a spare Audi A4 Center lying around in his garage (central bit over gearstick & handbrake) I thought to myself, why not just go ahead and buy the rest of the dash? so I did, and here we are, me with an A4 Dash / Center console & center. me and my friend are going to the car tomorrow night, and going to see if any of it fits :) if it does, then we will see what can be done from here :D I feel as if i should get hold of an RNS-E and shove it in there to make it look standard instead of getting a chavvy head unit that sticks out and things :) I will obviously have to make some cuts and things like that but I am sure ill get it in! Nugget Yellow Corrado, and it is beautiful. Can't wait to get this in tomorrow and see what it looks like, I will update with pics.
-
Thanks ! I'm going round my brothers to do some work on it now :) the bumper needs respraying so I think were going to have to find somewhere to get nugget yellow paint! guess ill just try going to a VW for it.

Hi Forum! I've been browsing around here for a while and just thought I'd post in the newbie hangout! I got my Corrado back in June/July (haven't passed my test yet) and it has been in my brothers garage ever since :) its a beautiful nugget yellow and I absolutely love it. I bought it even though I hadn't passed my test because I love Corrado's and i had the space to store it for a while, since we got it, we have took the whole of the interior out, cleaned it up a bit, done a bit of spraying, rust removal etc and got it working quite nicely :smug: I am working on it quite a bit, going to try get some Heated Leathers for it etc.
