I have started a spreadsheet slowly digging out part numbers and checking them off! Will aim to do some more today and let you know my findings - some good some not so! Thanks to the guys who have found part numbers, this makes the job a little easier! Keep the ideas coming though, and i'll take a description over nothing at all! Andy

James, we have been instrumental in getting the Mk1 Golf wings back in production. VW Classic parts dept have been very keen to hear our thoughts, as with a lot of the watercooled parts our ears are closer to the ground. We do also get parts manufactured ourselves, some rubbers, small repair panels, alloy wheels etc, so if there was a demand for a particular part there is a chance VW Heritage may produce it. (this is less likely with 'rado parts, as the market is fairly small in comparison to the Golf for example, but not out the question.) Please keep the ideas flowing - i'm going to start looking into them - you may be suprised, some of them might already be available - for example we have 90mm splitters on the shelf ;) C535-805-903/B/2BC is the part number, they are £142.32 retail, however we give clubs 5% off, so that'll include you guys, and save a few pounds! Thanks for the input and warm welcome thus far! Andy

We have been running a topic similar to this on Club Gti and it's great hearing from you guys, when you are working on the cars at the weekend and encountering problems with spares firsthand etc. So in a perfect world, what would you like to be able to walk into a dealer and still buy, or what would you like to be able to buy as decent aftermarket, that just isn't available! Descriptions are great, part numbers are an added bonus, and will make my job a tadge easier! There are no promises - but i can say we will act on your behalf and pass the word to VW Classic Parts, or consider taking on the challenge ourselves. Fire away (mods sorry if this is in the wrong place ;) ) Andy

Wahey, you guys work quick! I'll get a list up asap if i can. As for body panels i'll ask Classic Parts for you, and report my findings! I'll start a post (hopefully in a relevant section) for "i wish i could buy this for my 'rado" so you can start writing your wish lists and i can show VW that there is a demand for these parts. Andy
