I have still got my original lights as I bought these already tinted so at a push I will be able to swap them over. However if I can source a green bulb and it works that would be the preferred option for me Andy

Won't know for a while as my MOt is not due till next August. However this is in the MOT manual d. that every direction indicator emits amber light (except vehicles first used before 1 September 1965) Reason to fail d. shows light of an incorrect colour So it looks like I will need a green bulb. Any ideas where I can get these from Andy

So I decided to go all red. Took the old ones off and was amazed how good the paint was underneath New all red. Let me know what you think Decided to paint my grill and touch up behind the grill as this will be my winter driver. Also touched up a few stone chips replaced the heater/radio surround fitted a new leather handbrake gaiter Quick wash and ready to go again Just ordered some HIDs so I will hopefully be fitting them soon ready for winter. Next on the list is possibly new wheels but that depends on funds and what is available. Can't decide yet whether to stick with 15's or go for 16's maybe 17's. so will need to decide that first. Any advice would be welcome Andy

Yeh that works. Thanks for that I will order them tonight Andy

Hi What's the part number for the xenon bulbs and where did you get them from Andy
-
Gently ease out the switch with a very thin screwdriver. It is held in with pressure clips along the sides of the switch. Then obviously unplug it and completely remove the switch. The plug then slides apart and the bulb can be accessed. If its not the bulb then you will need a new switch. Its very easy as long as you are careful not to mark the surround trim. Andy

Yeh thats probably my first choice. I just haven't seen any white ones with all reds on them christ what am I saying I haven't seen another white one in ages never mind with different lights on I quite like the clear ones on the blacberry one in the banner but not sure if they would suit white Andy

Hi My corrado is white and one of the few things I really don't like about its looks is the rear lights. Actually this is the only thing I don't like.So I am looking for some inspiration. I cannot decide which way to go. All clear, all red all smoked or just the orange part smoked or clear ! So what are your suggestions and if you could post pics that would help a lot. Other than that my only other question is to myself. Why did I wait so bloody long to buy one of these. Its as much fun as my MK1 MX5 and the roof comes off that !!! Also I am in Widnes, Near Warrington/Liverpool is anyone up for a meet or are all your cars wrapped up for the winter? Mine is my winter car Thanks in advance for any help Andy

Remove the astray then there is a screw at the back (use a torch)that holds the ashtray housing in. Remove this then slide out the ashtray housing. You can now remove the cig lighter and access the plug behind it Andy

I had the same problem on a Mk1 MR2. I also had the alternator checked and was told it was fine however barring any other drain faults I replaced it, 3 times with recon ones before it worked. The symptoms do suggest alternator so thats were I would look first. Have you replaced the alternator? Andy

Ha I need the same part as one of mine is missing. I have been racking my brains trying to think what it is called so thanks guys If someone would make them I am sure a few people would buy them as they are btittle so I am sure loads will be broke/missing them Andy

Hi thanks for the offers but I have sourced one today at a scrap yard from an early C and it works better than the one I had on. weird Andy
-
Have many of you done this and if so what are the pros's and con's to doing it. Plus is it the storm kit and is it specific to the Corrado or does the golf one fit ? Cheers Andy
-
Or do any others fit? I have looked through the extensive posts on this and someone suggested the polo one fit, is this true? Andy

Hi I am after the drivers side front wiper arm as I have just snapped mine. Anyone got one with a prive posted to WA8. I don't think I am ready to pay what is being asked for the Lupo or TT ones just yet!!!! Andy
-
Yeh totally agree. New interior needed !! I like the Mk4 having had one in that colour. Looks a good project for you. I will watch with interest. Good luck Andy

Well I took the rado to the garage today for a check up. Scanned on the computer with no faults, well old ABS ones that were cleared. Quick oil and filter change. The guy looked it over (He is a VW specialist) Found no faults all ok underneath except for the rear brake pipe being slightly coroded so I am well chuffed with that cosidering I bought it blind and obviously it is 16 years old. So all I have to do is get the air direction sorted and replace the stereo surround and she is good to keep. Andy

Good to see you sorted your problem. Is it still ok ? Is changing the MAF a plug and play type swap over or more complicated ? Mine is a 95 2L 16v and I am getting 22 mpg Andy
-
Could you email me a pic of the lights in case mark doesn't want them Thanks Andy

Looks nice Alan. I am a huge Golf fan. If you miss the C that much pop over to mine and have a drive. Just stay away from the Widnes St helens bypass !! Andy
