  1. Well after much swearing and crying, ive managed to get my siezed G60 calipers off the hubs. Ive managed to eventually get the pistons to move out, and there looks to be corrosion on the pistons surface. Are they servicable or would i be better getting decent second hand ones. Also where can i get a service kit from, GSF anygood.
  2. Thanks, great info. I have just finished jet washing it on your advice. I will investigate first thing in the morning. Its taken me half a day to get my siezed calipers off, drove me barmy. But there off, so just the rack to investigate tomoz.
  3. Though id better say hello, after joining and just lurking. I have a G60, converted to a 20VT. It came on a hideous set of alloys, but lurking in my shed are a set of my 8.5 inch BBS RM's, now shod with ulta streched 165/45/15 bridgestone rubber. The rado had weitec shocks and springs, which looked ok height wise with the 17" alloys on, but now looks like an off roader, lol. So its time for some coilys to bring it back down to mother earth. I will try to get some pics up asap, but im busy rebuilding my mk1 gti, atm. Cheers guys, Webby.:thumbleft:
  4. Yes log onto club gti, and take a look at toyo tecs thread on there. Its a pretty expensive conversion though dude i warn you now. I have a mk1 gti, i am converting myself into a 9A on carbs. I was going to turbo it, but the expense put paid to that. It would be cheaper to 20VT it, i have one in my rado using a DTA ECU and Loom and its wicked. However if you can take your time sourcing the parts and rebuilding your Engine etc... then a 16VT is a real trick item. Oooh youve got me thinking about mine again now, lol.
  5. I seem to have developed a big leak of power steering fluid. It seems to be coming from the drivers side but i cant see where. Is this a common fault. Mine is a 91 G60 with a 20VT conversion. I prefer to do as much as i can myself before having to take it into a garage, its the only way to learn about your car, i believe. Any info would be cool, thanks.
