Sunday night VR6 wouldn't start, engine turned over and fired up then cut out straight away. Poked around for a bit then called out recovery man, he poked about pulled out afew wires went in the fuse / relay box pulled a couple of them out put them back in and the car then started up ok. Turned out to be a loose fuel pump relay. All was well untill today when it rained, only fast wipe worked on the wipers. Had a look at the relays and then looked at some photos of boxes posted on here and spotted my relay 99 in the wrong socket, swapped it over and all works again. Whilst searching for the wiper solution I learned that the intermittent wipe speed is programable using the wiper switch. I used to wonder why the wiper repeat duration seem to vary every so often, just thought it might have been a faulty relay. Neil

Thanks James I won't use the sun roof untill I have time to service it properly. I contacted ashleyjamesautotrim about the worn steering wheel ,l I got their name form an earlier post of yours, can you recommend them.

Some bits of the cream interior are worn especially the steering wheel and drivers seat, I am looking to refurb or replace in time. I am a bit wary of using the sun roof, how easy is it to close if I slide it back but it won't slide shut after. I opened it a few days ago and it diden't slide back, started to look into moving it manual and a day later it went back automatically using the central locking, any ideas? Cheers Neil

I'll take a photo tomorrow but it is the bit that fastens to the seat that you clip the seat belt into. last photo on yout first post has the seat belt bit I am after right in the middle.

Did you mange to look at the drivers seat belt anchor and is the stearing wheel still available.

Just aquired a 95 VR6 requires a few things doing to it but I am using it daily. Previously owned a corrado 2 ltr 16v for 12 years, super car but let it go after 250k miles with some serious engine problems. Hopefully I can get plenty of advice and tips about the VR6. Cheers Neil (soul)
