  1. Hi mate have received your PM. Could you resend? Cheers
  2. Hi guys I have a flash red Vr6 for sale. The car has covered 180000 miles and has been my daily for the last 5 years. I have had endless amount of work carried out on the car to keep her in good condition. Within the last month I have had the engine replaced and 3 new tyres put on. The car currently hasn't got an MOT. Please message me for further details as the car has a long history and I will be happy to provide more info!

    VR6 engine

Looking for a vr6 engine in decent condition to replace the one in my current vr as its knackered!!! Thanks in advance

    Boot lock

Hi guys I am trying to source a boot lock and key for my VR6 as the original has given up on me :( Let me know if u can help Cheers Simon
  5. From what VW said its just freying and a little torn in parts. My garage didn't seem to be too concerned but I'm a bit of a perfectionist so if I know something isn't right I have to get it done lol.
  6. Quick update, k seal seems to have stopped the coolNt leak from the head gasket. Haven't topped her up in over a week!!!! Still need to sort rocker gasket aux belt roof lining boot lock and passenger door amongst many other issues [emoji24]. Does it ever end?? Lol
  7. See can't even spell it right lol!!!
  8. I am definitely not savvy with the spammers lol
  9. So I have taken my Rado to the garage for a second opinion. They have quoted me £970 for all the work to be carried out. They suggested putting some k seal in to see if that will stop the head gasket leak, so have opted to do that for the time being to see if that works. If not it may be time to cut my losses :(
  10. Thanks for the offer Wayne but I'm at work both of those days!! Have booked the car into my local vw specialist so they can have a look, they said they didn't trust vw opinion lol!
  11. I will see what my local garage (vw specialist) has to say. They have worked in my car over the last year and have done a great job! I really don't want to give up on my VR6 as my valver has been sat on my dads drive for the last four years looking sorry for itself [emoji20]
  12. Sean that sounds like an awesome plan [emoji106]
  13. Thanks for the response guys! You may say that changing the aux belt is an easy fix but I really have no mechanical common sense what so ever!!! Over the past couple of months I have spent at least £2500 getting things fixed to no avail!! Even if I did get the gaskets replaced there is still the matter of fixing passenger door handle, boot lock replace roof lining, fix sun roof and electric mirrors as well as sort out rust issues. I absolutely love my car and have only ever owned corrados but I just think I'm throwing money at a lost cause. Maybe I will think differently tomorrow [emoji1]
  14. Just had my engine steam cleaned to see where it was leaking and VW have of course condemned my VR6. Head gasket is leaking coolant and rocker gasket is leaking oil and the auxiliary belt is freying. So is it worth me attempting to sort the problems out? Some advice would be useful Thanks Simon
  15. Thanks Jim. Have tried this with no success! Just starting to fall out of love with this Corrado [emoji17]
  16. Hi guys can't seem to open my passenger door from the inside or out. Locks and unlocks fine. Door handle is working as it should. Looks like the lock on the inside of the door has broken. Any ideas how I can get the door open to investigate? Cheers Simon
  17. I would rather not make a mess of it!! Lol
  18. I'm really no good at any car maintenance/diy!
  19. Hi guys anyone know where I can get my roof lining re done for a reasonable price? It has been sagging for the last year and think it is time to sort it out, along with many other issues :( Cheers Simon
  20. So these are the parts that I need to get to fix my gear problem. Any ideas where I can find these parts?? Cheers Simon
  21. Thanks Jim, I will show this pic to the garage on Monday to see if this is the part. Much appreciated
  22. So I have spoken to the garage and it is not the links that I need but the selector that goes on top?!? Don't know if that means anything to anybody. Doesn't mean much to me lol. If anyone has got the part or know of anybody I would be grateful if you could let me know Thanks Simon
  23. I have no idea but from what the guy at the garage said it was the selector. He said it was rusty and in bad condition. No surprise that the parts are obsolete!!! Thanks for the info :)
  24. HI guys don't know if anyone can help but I am looking for the gear selector linkage for my VR6 asap. Damn thing keeps getting stuck in reverse!! Let me know if you can help Cheers Simon
