Great project, lovely car. How's the R32 performance over super charging or turboing a standard VR6? -
VR6 | Mystic Blue | Leicester Price: £2,650 Description: 07/08/1995 N Reg VR6 Strom Mystic Blue with A/C 104,500 Miles I have owned the car for the last 7 years and during that time maintained the car in excellent condition and did whatever needed doing along the way. A great car that has been a lot of pleasure to drive, two memorable occasions were trips to France where she ran floorlessly throughout a great driving experience. The only car seats I have ever sat on and still feeling fresh after a long days drive. The car resides in my double garage the past 5 years and has only come out in the summer for dry weather drives. However next to her is an X5 (my runaround) while my wifes car is out in the weather and later this year she gets a new mercedes SLK which she assures me will be in the garage, so my beloved corrado (favourite car by far!) has to go (I won't see it sitting in the weather) and I'm looking for a new owner who can appreciate her as much as I have. She is standard except for a 25mm drop (Koni shocks) to compliment her overall sporting looks. She was always just a weekend car and I bought her with 92,000 miles on the clock, now only 104,500 so very low mles each year with the usual servicing as needed. List of features: No body, arch or sill rust as garaged 24/7 Full black leather interior, front seats in great condition with usual wear but still looking great as cleaned/fed along the way. Sunroof fully working slide and tilt. She has original Air con just needs annual refilling for those hot summer days. The original BBS Solitude alloys are in mint condition, almost as new. The engine runs beautifully and smooth (no knocks or rattles) and has done since I bought her from previous Corrado Club of GB enthusiast. Chains checked and working as they should. Spoiler works perfectly. All windows, wing mirrors and heated seats, ABS, lights, switches, heater controls working fine. Gearbox is still tight with gear changes smooth and precise. Tyres as new on the front and 3/4 new on back. Full closure alarm system working fine. Various parts have been fixed or changed over the years: New VAG twin radiator fans. New batery. New tensioner bearing. New aux coolant pump. New thermostat and housing. Discs and pads. Wheel bearings. Light switch uprated with metal plates. New bushes. Plus more... Some things to fix/repair? Body work generally in superb shape except for some attention needed to drivers side (passenger side spotless). Small pan dent (5p size) over front wheel arch, two small trolly dents in drivers door, small scrape to the floor sill below and behind drivers door, large scrape to the side of rear bumber on drivers side, the usual stone chips to front bumper and minor paint glazing to drivers side rear 3/4 panel between rear window and boot lid. The heater matrix developed a small drip/leak so I disconected the hoses (to loop) for the moment but a new matrix will need fitting. Will come with 12 months MOT Full service history VAG or specialist with full paperwork from new. This car has been a real find (cost orinally £7200) and a superb drive and with the fixes needed as mentioned to bring it up to beautiful condition. It's a £4500 car as researched at present and I had the garage quote all repairs at £1,350 all in which brings it down £3,150. However for the serious corrado enthusiast I am willing to take off another £500 and offer the car for £2,650 which I think is more than fair for this limited edition low mileage Storm. Only serious Corrado enthusiasts please. Tel: 07968 191 596 up to 8pm.
