PICS ON HERE NOW HOPEFULLY Due to a new business venture, I think my Storm has to go. Cash needed, Heart says NO, Head says YES, It’s Genuine. It’s Solid. It's in need of a good home. 1995 ‘M’ reg. CORRADO VR6 Storm Mystic Blue, Black leather 157,500 miles No M.O.T. No TAX. 4 Previous owners (the 1 before me only had it approx. 3 months) It was bought as a daily driver in Jan 2012 as a replacement for my silver VR6 that I’d had for 5 years, but after a change in circumstances, it came off road end of last October. The plan was to keep it as a second car, rectify a few problems and treat it to a full bodyshop workout over the coming years. However, with a new business venture looming and probable loss of garage space as well, it all seems a distant dream now. GOOD POINTS:- FULL Service History, mainly VW or specialist over the years, with bills. All old M.O.T’s Toad CAT 1 Alarm (2 keys, 2 Fobs) Fully working Spoiler and Sunroof Fan works on all 4 settings Original 15” Solitudes (in need of refurb) Plenty of tread left on (budget) tyres (They wouldn’t have been my choice!!) Many new parts fitted in last 4000 miles:- AP Coilovers along with new Top mounts and Polybushes all round. Front Wishbones (sprayed black), Track rod ends and Ball joints. DUBpower Cat back stainless exhaust.(good quality system and quiet) Main Water pump, tensioner and V belt MK4 rear calipers with Goodridge hoses Oil change and filter, along with filter housing Engine Sump (sprayed black) with new gasket BAD POINTS:- No M.O.T or Tax, been Sorned since last October. Water leak from Aux water pump ABS light stays on ( it didn’t do this until being parked up!!) Been stood almost 10mths (but started regularly) Body work as follows: Rust bubbles on all arches. (Some very small, from 5 yards away you couldn’t tell) Small 2” diameter paint defect on bonnet N/S door mirror broke (both casing and mirror, it’s on but held together with tape) Other small age related marks, scratches, stone chips etc. Will come with original Sony CD player but not wired in It would make a good daily with the mechanical issues seen to or along with a full re-spray a very good investment/weekend toy. There's probably a few points I've missed, will double check when I get home Friday. £1000 NO Offers (may as well keep it if it were any less) Car garaged and located in North Yorkshire. Cheers for looking, Russ. Contact 07801 457532 or [email protected] with any questions. Ta much.(hopefully pictures are below)

I've dealt with them before but only through Email. If you ring Stormdevelopments of Reading they may be able to help. 0118 3810963 Dubpower are based on the the same Ind Est and I believe they used to do some fabrication work for Storm. Russ

Lovely sound, also nice and quite until you open the taps. Fitted without any problems. Hopefully a pic will be shown below http://s1226.photobucket.com/user/VeenixTwin/media/IMG_0171_zpsaf3f3943.jpg.html?state=replace#/user/VeenixTwin/media/mine6_zps11a2ec37.jpg.html?state=replace&_suid=13698214764750669370943144885 Hope this helps.

Ruggy- its the first time Ive had coilovers and for the money they seem a good quality kit (apparantly made in the same factory as KW). They're not harsh or choppy like some cars I see on the road but think I'll be going back to standard when the C goes back on the road, as they are too firm for B road blasts for my liking (suppose it depends what your after).. Would love to go in a rado with lets say a koni coilover kit on to see if twice the price is twice as good..

Sounds good stuff. Cheers for the responses guys. I'll get some shopping done this weekend plus I've got a old Mk3 Golf bonnet in the garage to practice on first..

Howdo, Can any of you give some advice, Im in need of a dummies guide to using "clay bars" !!! Haven't had anything to do with them or to be honest even seen them before, but I've heard them mentioned 3 times in as many weeks. Are they anygood? How do you use them on your bodywork?, and when ie. before polish or instead of etc etc Are they mainly for removing tar/insects or the whole car?? Also opinions on which is best?? Cheers.

Just to get back to the original Question, theres a blue one in my garage, whick looks like it'll be there for a good few years.. Wanted a C to to use as a daily to replace my Silver one I had for 5 years, it didn't have to a storm but also didnt want to pay top dollar as it was going to be left on the streets of Hull and Edinbro.. Rushed into buying this one which turned out to be a dog, chucked a couple of grand at it and its still a dog!! fix one fault and then something else goes wrong, so in its current condition and climate I'd lose to much money selling it.. Roll on 20yrs it might be worth something or I might of won the lottery to return it to its former glory, I doubt either!!! On a lighter note, since buying mine I kept a note of all Blue storms that came up for sale, even writing down the reg numbers, got to 27 in in a little over 13 months!! Sad I know

Modern car headlights... is it just me?
VeenixTwin replied to Critical_Mass's topic in General Car Chat
Unfortunately I seem to be an offender. Just recently picked up a Mk5 R32 fitted with these xenon headlight jobbies and Im getting sick of people flashing me. At first I thought there was a problem with the aim, so I popped into the local MOT centre to have them checked on the machine. They said they were spot on, no probs. Yet still I get rear fog light flashes, full beam flashes and the occaisonal w***er sign... I don't mean to be a nuisance! -

These make mine look a little tame!! Everything that is missing was damaged, plus the screen is cracked, the drivers side window smashed and the roof dented in several places. Damn that Deer!! http://s1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee407/VeenixTwin/?action=view¤t=24062011200.jpg

Just had my DUBpower cat back system fitted yesterday morning. It seems a good quality system and was a good fit. Not very loud at all, certainly at tickover or motorway cruising just a little bit throatier when you open the taps, which is what I wanted, done a 220 mile trip already and very happy.
