  1. Rumpty Bump, still in need of a passenger side wing
  2. Cheers to Chris (VAG-hag) for the drivers side. I just need the passenger side now if anyone can help
  3. Blummin Eck borarob, you got my hopes up then when I got an email that there had been a reply!
  4. If you could buddy, that'd be mahossively appreciated
  5. I can vouch for this, it hurts like holy hell if it ends up on your (or passengers feet). Took a good month for my foot to heal fully...... Although wish I'd known about the Valeo matrix before I put a pattern one in. Guess that's another job to add to the list :awesome:
  6. Looking for late Spec Aqua blue wings, drivers and passenger side. If anyone has any that aren't dented/rusted :D *Edit - just after passenger side now
  7. Cheers for all the replies so far guys, really appreciated Cheers for the pic, what wheels are they out of curiosity? Concave rs2's? The bumper (and doors) do have a tint of deep purple to them from certain angles, not necessarily in bright sunlight though. But then that's how Aqua blue is suppose to appear isn't it? I've spoken to Yacob_wood (who the parts came from) and as far as he's aware, the car hadn't been repainted in it's life. I think it belonged to Ben_Wooduk before so might be worth asking him. But looking at any previous threads, like the one in my first reply, it just looks like they've come from a car that's been really well looked after as oppose to been repainted. As for my car, I really don't have reason to believe it's had a respray at any point in its life. There's no sign of overlap on inside of doors, engine bay, inside the car (which I realise can be achieved by a decent painter) but its more the fact that the paint/bodywork is in fairly shoddy condition haha :D I'd not seen (or actually heard) Inca blue before, but I can see what you mean. But I don't think it was a choice on the later VR6's was it? (apologies for not mentioning that sooner) And there's really nothing to suggest that there's been a respray of the car, for reasons above :) I have a feeling that ultimately, that's what I'm going to have to do before I can get any further. Good to hear that from a fellow aqua blue-er with a similar issue :thumbleft: Thanks All
  8. After looking at yours (which is stunning by the way :thumbleft:) it does look like it from certain angles, especially the doors (for the brief period they were on the car). But am I right in thinking that Mystic Blue was only available on the storms? This is the car that the parts came from http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?57516-Yacobwood-s-Aqua-16v Thanks for that Matt, I knew about the one in the boot, but didn't know about the orange sticker on the inner wing. Good to know :) That's good to hear, I can't say I've seen any other Aqua blue rados in person, so I really didn't know how the colour appears from different angles etc. So I'm hoping it might just be a case of my car needing some polish and a whole load of elbow grease.
  9. So this might seem daft, but I was wondering if I could get some opinions on my rados colour. It's code is lc5u which would suggest it's aqua blue, but after putting a rear bumper and some doors on (which I got from one of the cars been broken on here) I'm really unsure what it is. I ended up putting the original doors back on for the time being. But left the bumper on to give an idea of the difference in colour. There's nothing to suggest that the car has been repainted in it's life, and from what I can ascertain the car the doors and bumper came from hadn't either. From some angles the difference isn't so great, but from others its huge. I realise that the reflections of bushes etc won't help, and that the pics aren't exactly great quality. But give an idea. Could it just be that the car needs a really really good polishing or do they look completely different colours? Any thoughts/opinions would be appreciated
  10. Just on the off chance this doesn't sell, can I call second dibs? :)
  11. Could you PM me your address and mobile number please dude? Gonna head over tomorrow night if that's alright with you? Cheers
  12. That's great cheers, is there any day/evening that your free for me to head over in particular? Done some measuring up and fingers crossed it'll all fit in my bora, might be a bit of a faff though :D
  13. £60 sounds good to me. Will measure up to see if I can fit them all in my bora, failing that will arrange an alternative way of getting to you :) So will let you know by the weekend when I can get over.
  14. Cheers for the pics, will take the bumper...and probably the door, just need to figure out if I can fit both in my bora :D Is the passenger door in similar condition? No worries about the missing rubber as I'll swap it over from my current doors How much for said parts? Cheers Tom
  15. Bought this around 6 months ago, barely used it so might as well shift it on. Plus put my Rado through it's MOT yesterday, turns out its going to cost a fair chunk to keep running this next year....BOOOOOO! It is a blue burst 4003 replica, 22 Frets, Rickenbacker machine heads. Double jack. Strings have hardly been used. Really is in great condition, with only a few light scratches to the lacquer on the front. Comes with hard case. £450 (open to offers) Located in York/Scarborough, would prefer not to post, but will deliver/meet buyer as long as it's within reasonable distance. Thanks Tom Anymore pics needed, just ask.
  16. Pics would be cool :) What state are the doors in if they're still available that is?
  17. Consumption will be terrible, driving around York that is. Traffic barely seems to move round here They also run really quite hot, especially sat in traffic....or maybe thats just mine. But other than that, they're good fun cars. On a run they're alright on fuel. Well they are if you don't keep booting it to hear the VR noise
  18. What condition is the rear bumper and drivers side wing in? If they're still available that is :) Cheers

  20. Soon they'll have to remove any designs from the packaging, replacing it with a picture of some overweight sod and message about how it's bad for our health. Then a few years down the line, they'll have to keep the packs behind some counter, out of sight, so people won't be inclined to buy it and to prevent Kids from thinking it's "kool" to eat bacon.........I might of gone to far here, all I know is I could really do with a bacon sandwich right about now. :D
  21. Been lurking on the site since late last year, managed to sell my mk2 golf in February so bought myself a little treat to replace it (pic shamelessly stolen from the ad) Its only a weekend toy, and isn't quite as tidy as the pics would make out. So plans are to get it all sorted and as clean and smart as poss, looking to get rid of the tt comps, when I find something a little smaller that I like. Old golf, which was bought for the pricely sum of £60 :D. the daily :)
