if i blip the throttle the rpms seem to take a while to get back down to idle, any ideas or common/normal thing??

i have taken no pictures, will try and get some up over the weekend, took me long enough to find one as there are only around 12 corrados in nz, rust isnt a major over here (not saying we dont get it) but becouse we have no salt on the roads it doesnt get hold too bad unless you live right near the ocean, my car has always been inland and i live around 30 mins from the coast. my 1984 mk2 golf gti restoration is another story entirely!

mine is identical, looks like a bit of a rust trap in the rear end having rusted on both sides but all repaired looks awesome, fresh paint looks good..

thanks, looking for a favour, is anyone prepared to buy a pair of scrapers for me and send them over all at my cost, i rang tps and they can get them but wont send them or take payment over the phone, i have family over there but there are no tps stores locally too them, i was hoping someone may live near one and maybe able to help me out, i can transfer cash via paypal no trouble so you can buy them, then send the shipping cost when you have them. i know its a bit of trouble but i can put a drink in it for you.. let me know if anyone is prepared to help out, i am peed off with my naff looking scrapers on what is a very tidy car in general. thanks Daemo

hope that is what they are called, rubbers that fit on the top of the doors and wipes the rain off the glass when they go down. need both sides, vw new zealand have none so have to go overseas, anyone know where i can get them from..thanks.

just tried to get a new drivers side headlight and was told they are no longer available (early 1990 car) so can anyone advise aftermarket etc..my reason for changing is that a brand new pass side light came with the car and makes the other one look like crap. also need a new hella drivers side indicator. any info would be helpful..difficult to source stuff in nz.

i am in Hamilton, just south of Auckland, that pug for sale was red, ive never seen a silver one over here but there are very few of them..its the wrong side of the world to own european cars really but its getting better, there was very very few dealers selling euro cars in the 80's 90's era.. to give you an idea of how small the "enthusiast" vw comunity is in nz visit here http://www.vask.org.nz most people are looking for alot of the same parts so prices are a little silly at times.. i will see what happens on the matrix, how much do you want for it?, i have just bought one for my mk2 gti from the uk and that did get a little damaged but only becouse it was packed by a half wit!!
