I'd done the usual compare sites, and had gotten (what appeared to be) a great price from one of the big insurers. Called your good selves today, and spoke to Moses - very pleasant chap. Upshot...with up to 240bhp via remap, and aftermarket alloys = £490. Result. Needless to say, paid up there and then. As painless as buying insurance could be, and a great price - very many thanks! • I've also insured my Focus with you too! I can't fault the quotes & the service. • Smashed renewal quote for me. And to boot I asked for TPFT cover and was recommended to go fully comp as it was over £70 quid cheaper. Now that's honesty! Beat several other big names in the retro/classic modified insurance by £47 to £176. Even if they had not been the cheapest, I would say of all the people I dealt with today, they were by far the best in their manner and professionalism. • Brill customer service and best price for modded car . From £800+ to £475 . Big thanks! • My renewal came through from XX and they wanted just over £600 which does not cover my modifications, so if i had an accident the car would go back to standard. Tried the online comparison sites and the cheapest was £530 and i don't even know what that covers. Phoned a nice lady at prestige and have now insured through them at a cost of £480 which also covers all my modifications like for like so happy days well worth giving them a buzz, thanks. • I’ll be insured with prestige.. all mods covered like for like easily beat my renewal..spoke to a very nice chap called Moses.   4. Please don’t forget to ring us if your car insurance renewal is due in June. 85% of our customers due for renewal last month renewed their policies! Here is some recent (& a little witty!) feedback – • Called today to get a quote and was really impressed. Despite being named after a fairly average bun and a part of London I'd really rather I ever went to again Chelsea was absolutely superb. Answered all my stupid questions and tried her hardest not to sound bored, promised a recall later in the month when I'd put a list together of all the mod receipts and quoted me a very good price. • I am over the moon with the level of cover and price I have got. These guys are legends, they beat all other quotes i had and also managed to get the price on my insurance down to less than what i was paying. Moses at Prestige was very polite and easy to deal with and made it all that little less painful. Thanks again for beating all other quotes and giving such a great discount. • My recently auto-renewed current policy had managed to drop several of the mods from the past year so would have been basically pointless. I messaged with the list of mods from my progress thread and asked about the easiest way to get a quote. After a quick response, I filled out usual style online form. 10 minutes later, I received a call from Chelsea who confirmed the details from the online form and confirmed the mod list was correct (fortunately without actualy going through it). A bit of funky music later and I had a quote which was cheaper than my current policy but also included ALL the mods on a like for like basis. Unfortunalely your not allowed to take out a policy whilst already having a current one. So, a quick goodbye to Chelsea to get on the phone and cancel my current insurance...After cancelling my original insurance, I called back Prestige and spent a short while on hold whilst being connected to Chelsea again to take out the policy. Again, she confirmed details on me and Mrs P, car details, the list being accurate and previous claims etc... and then terms etc so took a while but at least everything is correct... before paying. So, a decent price and pretty painless with no hassle for some fairly hefty mods. Only the cheesy music stops it being a 10/10. • Just had a very pleasant chat with Chelsea and Prestige have beaten xxx by £102 this year. Suffice to say have taken the policy out, great service and the best price I was able to come by this year. • Gave one of your very pleasant operators today (didn't catch her name sorry!). It was a very good customer experience - and all hope is not lost yet...When taking potential mods into account, your increase was a LOT less than the cheaper company was. Very many thanks for taking the time and effort, all in all a top job.

Here is some recent feedback from the last 8 weeks - • Prestige managed to save me a massive £360 on my insurance. • Prestige have quoted with all mods have beaten xxx and yyy by £120 for the year. Give them a call! • Sorted mine yesterday, best quote I had by a long way. • Sent in the online form on Sunday, got quoted today, was the lowest I could find and saved £115 with the club discount. Can’t thank you guys enough. • Just want to thank David and the team at Prestige today, even though they were low on staff they took their time, were very understanding of the mods and there was no pressure at all into buying now like other insurers had throughout the afternoon, they also smashed the cheapest renewal quote I could find including mods like for like etc.I hope to be using you for any car I buy in the future and will certainly recommend you anytime I can. I am incredibly happy at knocking a substantial amount off my renewal from last year too. Here is some recent feedback – • I am very happy with the quote I received and cheaper than my renewal from my current insurance company! David was very helpful and friendly, just like the other reviews I have seen from others on Facebook and another forum I'm a member of! Anyway, if anyone's is due soon, give these guys a go, it's only a phone call and you could save some cash as I will when mine is due! Such a friendly company, which is very unusual these days, I'm currently insured through XX and even they are becoming very unhelpful and unfriendly! • Cheers for the quote for my dad’s car saved him £70 which seeing as he’s 65 is a lot for him fast and pleasant service also will be giving you a bell when my renewal is due. • Just phoned these for a quote and got it £150 cheaper with all my mods declared!! Seriously ring these guys if renewal is close!! • Rang these guys yesterday for a quote all i can say is wow! The person I spoke to was polite and new his stuff about the modifications, they will not charge for extra mods mid way through the policy unless it adds massive bhp. Give them a call they beat my renewal price by a long way. • Great bunch of guys to speak to on the phone, they really know there stuff and understand what I’m requiring.

Here is some recent feedback – • Epic company, less than 500 quid for the year fully comp......beat my renewal quote by nearly 200 quid......thank you very much. • Deal done. great price and all mods covered. Happy bunny. You now have a new customer. My last insurer covered me for 8 years. You now have me for ages. Lol. • Just had my renewal through, so thought I’d try these as I’d seen them on the facebook page. Called them up, very friendly company, (and the girl sounded lush). Few minutes later I had my quote through. Saved me £48 on my renewal deposit and £140 on my annual quote. £595 new price!! happy days, so cheers guys. Great stuff!! • Had a nice chat with an advisor from Prestige. One very happy bunny. • Spoke to David who was very helpful. Have saved £148 on my renewal quote which I am very happy with - all mods included. Good service and phone answered quickly.   15. Winter Tyres I’ve been asked about our stance on these so I thought I would add this to our thread. There is no charge for these on our insurance scheme and we don’t need to be notified when they are changed, provided that they meet, and are fitted in accordance with, the vehicle manufacturers’ specifications, and are in a roadworthy condition.

  17. Please don’t forget to ring us for a quote if your car insurance is due for renewal in February! January (historically the quietest month) was our equal 2nd best month for policies ever! And here is some recent feedback to reflect this – • I just want to say how very happy i am to now be covered by prestige! They offered me the cheapest quote and declaring all of my modifications! I would recommend them to anyone with a modified car! • I just been on the phone to you guys. Just want to say was very happy with my quote. Managed to bring me down by half what I'm paying now. Also managed to beat every quote I have had online so I will be taking my cover out with this lot when my actual renewal date comes around. Also would like to say great customer service on the phone too and when had to be put in hold was not kept on hold for too long. Even when I first rang up and was on hold and someone answered but everyone was still busy that dealt with quotes guy took my number and called me back within 5 mins. I'm very impressed I would most definitely recommend anyone on here to give them a call when due day comes. Cheers. • Just had a quote from you guys - I'm a first time driver so have been getting silly quotes until i rang you. • My renewal came through at £617 which was ok as i paid £700 last year so phoned up, had a chat with a guy called David, and we managed to get it down to £545, not too shabby as its the cheapest insurance i have had in about 5 years.

Hi to all We’ve been receiving quite a few requests for quotes recently from people who have seen the good feedback about our scheme but who are only halfway through their current policy elsewhere. I would just ask if people could call us at renewal time as firstly, we can then give precedence to people who need insurance, and secondly because people generally lose quite a bit financially if they cancel policies mid-term due to cancellation rates & fees. Also, premiums can change on a monthly basis. We will always endeavour to save you money and provide the best service we can but it’s better all round if it’s at renewal! Here is some recent feedback! • Thank you guys, just started a new policy, cheapest around and good policy details too....one happy customer here. Fully comp, all mods, business use, and confirmed 205bhp from 136bhp. • Just taken out insurance with prestige today. My renewal from was £722. £150 excess and no mods declared. Prestige quoted me £600 with £400 excess, with new alloys, lowered 50mm all round and gti leather interior, all covered like for like. Mk2 saxo vtr (2001), I'm 33 with 3 years ncb. Had other quotes in excess of £1200, so overall I'm very pleased. • Can't recommend these guys enough, just been on the phone to them again, really friendly, very helpful, and they'll actually insure my Astra when i've finished supercharging it. • Big thanks to Prestige who have blown everyone else out of the water with their quote on my civic! Looks like I'm with you for the next 12 months. • WOW - Phoned up Prestige. Told them my renewal price and the lovely Chelsea said she didn't think they could beat it as it was quite low already (surprise surprise!) She then said she was faxing the underwritters and getting back to me. A phone call later and she has managed to reduce my premium by 20%!!!!! Fantastic news. In short, give them a ring. Phoned my existing insurer and they can't/won't move on price. • I was surprised at the quote I got. £1400 with modifications declared, & I was getting £1450+ with no modifications before.
  19. Hi Gus We would replace on like for like basis :) The panels (if not standard) would have to be declared and premium-wise, shouldn't be much difference if anything but we would just need to know precise details.
  20. I was shocked to see a recent poll stating that 41% of people hadn’t or wouldn’t declare the modifications on their car to their insurers! Amazing! Please always declare mods – we are mod-friendly anyway!

  22. Please don’t forget to ring us if your car insurance renewal is due in January! Normally one of the quietest months, December was our second best month of 2012! January has started well also - this feedback was posted yesterday evening: • Very impressed. I hardly ever advertise products/services that I use. Of course by the early part of January my mind turns to Car Insurance. Well the nights are only just starting to draw out, and there's not a lot on the Television. I had my quote from my current provider, and yet again I'd said that I was changing. I'd visited comparison websites....Emailed the people at PRESTIGE KEEP MOVING CAR INSURANCE, and left them my details. The did try and ring me this morning - but I was at work. Rang them this evening, and spoke to a very nice girl called Chelsea. The quote was just over £35 cheaper than my current provider - BUT WITH ALL THE MOD'S, and coming in at about £40 than a very good policy provided by a well known car insurer. To get probably the best policy I have ever had for the Xsara, and at the cheapest price, I reached for the Debit Card. Oh, and I didn't have to wait on hold, listening to a recorded message on how my call was important to them. Here is some other recent feedback - • With the discount applied to forum users it's not only the best quote so far, but the flexibility of payment options and REALLY good interest rate on monthly instalments means I shall be calling you guys as soon as my car gets it's MOT. Also, thanks to Jane at your call-centre for being so darn helpful! • Highly recommend, excellent quote with mods. Nice to actually speak to an insurance company that actually understand your car and needs without the silly quotes! • Phoned today as needed rapid cover for a ( new to me ) car which i need to collect 300+miles away over weekend. Prestige could not have been better. The young lady was brill all done by mobile when driving from Surrey to Devon - price very, very good. Considering I have had company cars for several years and only started using my own car since 2011, recommend to anyone. Please give them a try and do yourself a favour. • I spoke with Nikki. Very nice and very helpful. Definitely not your typical insurance company. • Ria saved a small fortune with a very competitive quote from this broker. • Looking good, almost a 50% cut on the quotes I've had so far for the fiesta.   24. Lol. Some people do pay high premiums but this could be due to accidents and/or convictions, high area, young age, etc, not necessarily the type of car!
