  1. I made mine. Let me find pictures...ill be back. ---------- Post added at 8:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:17 PM ---------- I used a soldering iron and some left over plastic as a "welder" of sorts. Worked great and was an easy project.
  2. Also very interested. I have a custom stainless steel reservoir being made right now and would love to see other setups for reference.
  3. Yes. 2 different ones. I believe early 95 was obd1 and late 95 was obd2. Which "rocker" cover do you have?? That will provide the answer. Obd1 is a regular rubber flat style gasket for the aluminum valve cover. Obd2 is a rubber gasket that is integrated into the plastic valve cover. Hopefully my information is correct.
  4. First, I apologize if my American English causes any communication issues. I joined this forum a few weeks ago and I can't believe how resourceful this forum is. Monday i saw this thread about the under hood heat shield, WHICH I'VE NEVER HEARD OF, and decided I HAD to order it. I received it today for my g60 hood and it is AWESOME, better than I expected. Quality and fit is top notch. I had to trim the slightest bit off the lowest left piece. The symbol is worthless. It won't even peel of the transfer paper and ill be calling him about that. Overall, 9 out of 10. Extremely happy. Nick Edit: I'm not sure what you use over there for spray adhesive. I used 3M 90...doesn't get any better.
  5. THIS ^ I've put 1000's of miles on a dried up clicking CV with no issues...but I would recommend against that. I ended up with catastrophic failure on the highway, it could have ended badly. Right now it appears a quick and simple repair, you are doing the right thing by making it a priority before to many miles.
  6. Thanks for the warm welcome. I look forward to participating in some discussions. Nick ---------- Post added at 8:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:14 PM ---------- Not many around. In the upstate NY VW scene there are just a handful.
