right i just spoke to the bloke.... im not happy really!

its got full stamped log book with vw and audi then bmw etc etc!!! but not one receipt!!! if im gonna pay top dollar a full service record is what im after with recepits and everything!!!! oh and no alarm certificate, he says its a toad cat1 but how can you prve this to an insurance company!!!

he said he bought it from autotek for 9600 2 year ago!!

hmmmm thats what i thought about the price!!! but ive been to see 2 vr's at 5k or more and they have both been pretty bad body wise!!! i didnt even start the car!!! they were that bad!! i figured if i wanted a nice one i would have to pay for it is this right or should i continue searching???

1990 i remeber seeing this for sale it was a really nice looking mototr i had to agree didnt you have it up for closer to 4k at one point!!!! i was very tempted!!!!! would of bit your hand off for 2800 though!

sounds about right! to me the 8v always seem to sell well at this price..... saying that i just sold my mk2 16v for £2200 on the clubgti website.

the fact that ive looked at 2 late example VR's in the last 2 days and on both of them i didn't even get to start the engine as the body was crap yet they wiere still looking for over 5.5k

im looking at another one with 77k on the clock monday and funny thing is he works next door to where i work. So its worth to have a look and its all standard then comes the fun as you say with making go round a corner like yours did!!!! ha ha cant wait!

oh yeah the roundabout was awesome i couldt believe it....

just sold my mk2 16v and i test drove kev's VR to see what i was getting myself into with raddo ownership (by the way thanks Kev) and oh my god it is in the premier ship compared to the mk2 in divsion 1......!!!!

the mk2 was good but a raddo is something else!!!!

well im in this very predicament at the moment.... on the one hand ive got dan and his lovely g60 that he wants to sell me :) and on the other hand the 6k budget opens up the field for late vr6. decisions decisions.... i must say though i love a supercharger whine! but hate the fact there all getting on a bit now hence why the vr6 is more tempting! ohhhhhhhh b0llocks

ive now driven both examples now thanks to my mate over the weekend and i like them both for comfort but i think all it comes down to is looks and DANSG60 is bl00dy nice.

didnt know the storm might affect my insurance..... hmmmm thanks for the info on that mat!

7k is steep especially when most vr's are about the 5k marker right now!!

not to worried about the storm badge but there aint may low miler VR's about or even in my area and this was just one that appeared on the trader!

really you would say this was quite cheap!!!! hmmmmmmmm its only 20 miles from me maybe ill go and have a look

anything i should look out for at this sort of price.... ie how to i tell its a real storm and not a replica!

Standard corrado storm on a 96 plate in green with beige leather full VW Service and 76k on the clock for 7000 pounds!

i know the top gear has sky rocketed prices which annoys me but hey at least it recognises them as great cars and people who own a storm already are rubbing there hands together with this knowledge but would you buy one for 7k.

i have no idea what brands they are ive been told all shock legs are built to the same spec. For instance in how much preassure the cars weight puts on them! so there ok as long as there both sport oriented they should be ok ?????? :roll:
