Hi, I have for sale two Recaro Pole Position Racing seats. One is in very good condition, the other requires re-covering which costs approx. £200. They come with fully adjustable sub-frames to fit Corrado, or Mk.2/3 Golf. They are amazingly comfortable and supported me for journeys of 450 miles in one day. So if you have any back problems, or just like the ultimate in seat support These are the seats for you. They are priced at £350 o.n.o. (Check the price new!) p.m. me if you are interested. or 'phone 01249 814071.

Hello Supercharged Will, You've got the wrong car. Mine was an 8v 2ltr with no sunroof - Sorry
-
Hi, Can anybody give me some idea of the price I should ask for two Recaro Pole Position seats. One is in good condition, and the other requires a new cover (£2oo). they come with adjustable subframes, but they are no longer race legal, although I understand there are still many classes which allow their use. These seats are very comfortable for road use.

It seems that my 8 valve will not sell at any price, so with regret, it's going to the breakers. Has any kind member got a really crap set of plug leads for it's final journey? This will allow me to keep the new Magnecor leads I got for Christmas. P.M., or 'phone 01249 814071

Yes, it's still available. If you are interested, give me a call.

Hi there, what kind of things are wrong with the interior I'm looking to swap my grey interior for black so would use this as the doner.

Now Sold For Sale 1995 8v 2ltr.Corrado This car has been a rolling project for 4 years. Much work has been carried out and many new parts fitted. 2013:New Infinity Stainless Steel Exhaust. 2014: Brake pads, discs and wheel bearings, top mounts, front lower wishbones, ball joints, roll bar drop links, second hand (in tank) fuel pump, alternator. 2015: New belts fitted throughout, New ignition switch, immobiliser ecu, coil, rear (rhs) abs sensor, rear suspension bushes. The car does not have a sunroof, so no leaks! It has very little rust but requires a fair amount of cosmetic work due to poor paintwork and interior. It comes complete with Bentley workshop manual. I have been told by VW that only one hundred and twenty-eight of this model were made. Current MOT until May 2016. Runs and drives well. Located in Calne, Wiltshire.

Thanks for the clues. The 'A' code appears to be restricted to the ADY engine which I think was fitted to all the 8V Corrados and some of the 2ltr Mk3 Golfs. The 'A' and 'B' pumps are, at least in appearance, quite different, eg wiring and terminals. Maybe the 'B' could be modified, but it is certainly beyond my skills, or my pocket to have the job done professionally. I wonder if the G60 uses the same pump as the ordinary 8V - hm!

Hi. Some time ago I bought an ABS Pump for my 8v Corrado. I have just got round to cleaning it and find that the part number on the label is - 1 H2 614 117 B, whereas the number of the pump on the car is 1 H2 614 117 A. Can anyone tell me if there are differences between the two, or is it going to be a straight swap. vcl

While cleaning mud from the front underside of my '95 8v I removed one of plastic panels (part number 535 825 250A). To my embarrassment, I did not take a note of its location and now, despite my efforts I cannot find out where it should go. When you stop laughing at my stupidity I would be very grateful if anyone can recognise it from the part number above. regret, camera out of order. vcl

You will not do better than Infinity Exhausts. They will build an exhaust as quiet or as loud as you want. I've had mine for two years and have no complaints. My son has one fitted to his Porsche and is also delighted. My stainless system was £300 - fitted! You will not get better value than that. Go on, you know it makes sense.
