ai ball ake ha,, umm my car i had the parts ect,, but rear axel bushes have gne nd brakings dodgy so i need the tt ha rover is bout 300 to fix so not bad :/ just waiting fr him to find sumone to spray the wing nd bumper on the rover sp i can pay

thanks bud its at a hold atm curently just trynna get bits cmachined (free **** basecally) but the tt as well is slowd down fr fixing as my mk3 hit sumones car the other day cause a kid ran out so i aimd fr the car,, nd nt going through insurance so hopin its nt gna cost me hundreads :( as it was only a ****y rover 200 ffs :(

im currently doing the loom now i have a guide but its not the best how to :/ i dont mind using the a3 clocks and barrel/keys as i have them, so does anyone know how i can intergrate it to the 1990 16v loom? cause im guessing the engine will need a feed for the ecu and also something to do with the fueling? thanks

i wrk in dolgellau on the a470 gelli gemlyn, drive a noisy red golf 16v mk3 usually doing bout 80+mph u might spot me in the mornings ha umm used stadard mounts , using the a3 gearbox i had to widen 2 holes to fit the gearbox bracket (same gearbox as the valver i think just older so u ca use it) rear mount yes tstandard no modding,, currently on standard valver subframe but im converting it to 5stud widetrack and polybush thanks,, anytime bud,, nd yes garage needed :(

thnks but ill be ok, im a civil engineer nd guys at work will do it as ive set out few buildings for them right not mucth progress due to being hospitol ect, work, weather blah blah just spent 1500 on my tt having new engine, hybrid turo , cluthc ect , and beliee it or not still waiting for the sandblasting !! lol

have thought bout it cd get wood from work cheap aswell but nt gt the spare cash atm as the tt needs doing but i shud have a double garage nd wrkshop built in the new year hopefully

did some small progress today got underneath the car started stripping some underseal off ready for new coating :) removed the aftermarket wiring :) trimmed the pipes for tighter fit and got the bumper to fit :) (next step is to try it with the crossmember :/ which i keep forgetting) tidyd up the parts in the mk2, sorted out other parts ect, made a lil wrk bench, and moved the 8v engine, and my old show plate :) [ATTACH=CONFIG]70846[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]70847[/ATTACH] and the frgten project ha [ATTACH=CONFIG]70848[/ATTACH]

well been at it some more ,, going to be bit slow on updates latly as weatehrs closing in and also the tt is in the garage and need to build the apx engine for tht :/ *******ing thing right lil updates today :) the brembos lined up with the 312 discs :) the back lines upp well just a matter of fabricating the plate for mounting and 312 pads [ATTACH=CONFIG]70817[/ATTACH] heat wrapped my downpipe :) [ATTACH=CONFIG]70818[/ATTACH] routed the pipes, just need to trim one section so it can be squared up for better fit :) [ATTACH=CONFIG]70819[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]70820[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]70821[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]70822[/ATTACH] converted the rears to vr6 discs for the 5x100 conversion and going to be using my a3 turbo calipers on it [ATTACH=CONFIG]70823[/ATTACH] [ATTACH=CONFIG]70824[/ATTACH] and just a size comparison on the discs [ATTACH=CONFIG]70825[/ATTACH] familys going mad with me storing all these random parts everywhere :) ill get sum more pics tmoz, but the car is now on the ramp instead of the mk2 :) so i can remove the old exhaust and start undersealing the car :)

u got a build thread by anychance? wouldnt mind a peep yes they are same as fiat and alfa mounting,, the mounting doesnt look too bad atm, its more of getting the right size disk and simply plated steel or billet aliminium (if ure good at machining) ive found out that 280s and 288s are too small to fit these calipers it messes up the centring of the pads,, but ill keep this dated see how it goes :)
