  10. 2.0 16v | Flash Red | Marton in Middlesbrough Price: £3500 ono Description: As the title reads here is my 1993 Vw Corrado 16v for sale. i have owned the car since november and it stands me at roughly about £4500 which i have reciepts for (i know i wont get my money back before anyone says lol), it has 9 months MOT and 9 months Tax. The work carried out was extensive on the mechanical side first of all (as we all know you cant polish a turd :lmfao:) so i replaced the following to get it ready for its MOT; Front wishbones and bushes front and back brake hoses rear suspension struts (boge) rear calipers discs and pads all round (brembo) horn rear wheel bearings abs sensors x 4 rear abs sensor rings once the car had passed its MOT there were a few other areas which i wanted to address, they are as follows; oil cooler alloy radiator new header tank oil filter oil change spark plugs HT Leads lowering springs 40mm all round (ride is great and not too stiff, no rubbing at all) brake fluid change new radiator hoses heater matrix as you can see there is allot i have done to restore this car to its former glory, but that wasnt enough for me so i decided on getting the car properly sorted, the following mods were carried out; full windows out respray (2 pack original paint in flash red) new windscreen dare rs 16" wheels (staggered fit) 4 x toyo T1-R tyres astorm cream leather interior (great condition) the car has a milltek exhaust fitted and sounds great, the standard 2.0 16v 09A engine pulls really well and runs as it should, i have stopped using this as my daily as it is far too clean to start running it through haverton hill everyday. there are a few bits i would like to do to the car and if the buyer would like me to complete i will but if not this is a really easy list of jobs to make the car 100% jobs to do 50mm splitter to fit drop front another 15mm remote central locking (addition to the existing vacuum central locking) window wiper arms, door handles to refurb i am looking for £3500 ono, this car really is as good as the pics look and is worth coming to see, im sure a few on here will agree that my cars are always done to a good standard, anyway you guys will have your own opinions but have a look and any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Build thread http://vagcars.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?p=179878#post179878 thanks for looking
  11. Hi mate, have you still got the 2 slat grille? If so how much posted to TS89XJ Cheers
  12. if you could send me a pic that would be great, i am deleting the heater controls and making it double din so as long as the sides are ok then it will be just what i am looking for!!! cheers
  13. Still need this, anyone??? Cheers
  14. i know its nothing special!!! but thanks for the heads up, just describing it as best i can, i think its pretty fair for a decent interior. Good point about the VR6, this interior has no centre arm rest! comments always welcome and very helpfull, cheers ---------- Post added at 10:54 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:45 AM ---------- i only have the back to front centre console from the floor area, the dash section is not included, i have amended the ad, sorry for any confusion. i know that lilfuzzer had one for sale a few weeks back, may be worth a cheeky pm! thanks
  15. Hi guys, Looking for this to be collected from middlesbrough as the price and postage would be pointless as it would cost half of the asking price!!!! I have for sale a late spec Karmann corrado 16v interior, it has a split 60/40 rear seat, all door cards which are intact and good condition, rear black parcel shelf, centre console from back to front including gearstick surround and gaitor. The interior is in great condition, may require a light clean, the bolsters on both front seats are intact with no rips or holes, the drivers seat lower foam has softened a little but still has its overall shape. I am looking for £150 ono for the lot, i dont want to split so if this is wanted for a mk2 golf then you would have to take the lot!!! sorry! i think that is pretty fair so to summerise you get; 2 front seats 60/40 rear bench centre console back to front (not dash section) gearstick surround including gaitor Handbrake cover rear parcel shelf (straps in great condition) electric window switches electric mirror switch door pods inner door handles + surrounds Bad points Driver seat lower foam has softened (still retains shape) inner door handle cover has cracked (not overly noticable) JBL Tweeters in top/front of door cards (Could be a good point for some but not for me) more pics of the interior out of the car can be posted at request.
  16. As the title says looking for the late spec centre dash section which houses the radio, heater controls and astray. Cheers
  17. ill take it mate, £70 posted sound ok to you??? PM Me payment details and i will reply with postage details. Cheers
  18. Hi, does this rad fit directly onto the existing mounts??? cheers
  19. thanks for that, i understand what your saying and i have considered this as its not a big job and is relativley inexpensive however i do have a few sets of 4x100 wheels and i like to chop and change depending on time of year etc so the idea behind the adaptors is to give me flexibility. i already have some adaptors on my mk2 golf and as long as they are installed correctly (threadlocked/copper slipped etc) then they seem to work fine with no adverse effects or imbalance to the ride, i do totally agree with your comment tho and in an ideal world if i could get a few sets of wheels with the correct pcd the i would most definatley adjust the hubs to suit. its my own fault for liking too many different manufaturers of wheel

just a heads up on this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-VW-CORRADO-VR6-CREAM-LEATHER-FULL-INTERIOR-RECARO-2-0-16V-8V-GOLF-MK2-G60-/150952538318?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item232578f0ce its a a place called VeeDubs in newcastle, i popped to have a look at it on friday, the rears and door cards good ok but both doors/windows have been open on the car and the fronts would take some resurecting to get them to a good standard, i had an agreed price of £300 with the guy for me to remove from the car too but i walked away as i thought that the fronts were too far gone. hope this helps
