Sorry folks, looks like it is sold - Deposit has been left, being picked up tomorrow by 1st person to view - I knew it was a bargain! :D If anything changes for whatever reason I will update Not necessarily the usual fodder for on here, but it is cheap due to needing a couple of jobs doing (something I know most on here aren't put off by) and has plenty of potential Audi TT Roadster, year 2000 with the 225bhp 1.8 Turbo petrol engine and 6 speed manual gearbox. MOT'd and Taxed till Feb 2014, just under 140,000 miles (this may change slightly as I am using it every now and again to save it just being sat doing nothing) In rare Nimbus Grey Pearl colour, it is a great value and fun sports car. Normally a stupid time of year to try and sell a convertible, however being a Quattro, this is good all year round practical fun. I think this is one of the cheapest (if not the cheapest) 225 roadster (and certainly in this colour) that is for sale T&T’d, ready to drive home in, or that hasn’t been crashed! It would certainly break for more, but I don’t currently have the time, inclination or space, being halfway through breaking up an S6 that spun a conrod bearing on me! Really good spec makes it great value for the money, just some of the features include: - 6 Speed Manual Gearbox - Climate Control - Xenon Headlights - Heated leather/alcantra seats - Powered Roof - Bose sound system - Heated Electric Mirrors - CD Player with Aux/Ipod input - Larger brakes as per Audi S3 (only came on the 225bhp TT) - Quattro/ABS/ESP - Plus loads of other bits I am sure I have missed! Being the 225bhp version, as well as the features above it has a few nice bits that the lower powered versions don't, such as twin tailpipes, red-edged TT badges etc. It is surprisingly economical given the power, with 35 mpg possible on a run without driving too much like a granny, and still reasonable if you push on a bit. I guess the 6 speed box helps, as it is on a par with my old A3 that was only 2wd and 5 speed, but had a touch more power Quattro is great for the winter - I wasn't expecting too much having driven 'proper' 4wds I the past, but I was genuinely very impressed with it, never getting stuck in last years snows in rural Wiltshire! It also makes the power usable and safe - My partner used to hate driving my A3 that had similar power in anything other than the dry, yet she was perfectly happy to jump in this and go anywhere. Bought by myself and my partner nearly 2 years ago, it is only up for sale as we have split up and she is moving abroad. If I didn't need 4 seats for work I would definitely be keeping this, but clients cant sit in the boot unfortunately! A lot of the usual TT problems have been sorted, and every single piece of equipment works, with no electrical problems at all. Some of the more usual TT nasties that are fine or have already been sorted include: - Dashpod has been repaired so no immobiliser problems about to jump out on you (if you are buying a TT and haven't googled this issue yet, I recommend you do!) - Oil pickup pipe has been removed and flushed out during servicing, so no nasty 1.8T oil sludging to destroy your oil pressure. - Roof has no leaks and works perfectly. I gave it a full clean and renovate while in our care. - All drain holes and chassis holes have been cleaned out and sorted, so no nasty rust waiting to appear from the inside out It is not perfect, and there are a few bad bits, hence the price. It is 13 years old, and there is the odd age related mark on the body, the drivers seat is getting a little worn and there is a bit of kerbing on the alloys. It is due a cambelt during probably the next 12 months, or 10,000 miles(ish) dependant on how many miles you do. It could also do with the outer CV boot on the drivers side being replaced as it has seen better days. There is the odd squeak, rattle or bump in the cabin, but I think that is being a roadster as much as anything (don't read more into this than intended, it is not bad but it is a 13 year old soft top, I don't want anyone to turn up expecting brand new car style NVH levels!!) - None of this is exactly world breaking however, and all cheap enough to sort out either yourself, or at a good independent. All in all a good honest, ready to drive away sports car. I know it is a cliché, but I will genuinely be very sad to see it go, and would be keeping hold if I didn't already have something more appropriate for work duties. I have had this up for £2500 for a couple of weeks, however as February gets closer and closer, I need this gone - £2000 will take it, massive amount of car for the money - these must have been near enough £30K new 10 years ago! Please, don't think that the price means it is a heap - there are a few bits of work that want doing, but other than that it is great - no boost leaks, no turbo problems etc. I have the full version of VAGCOM, and can show you a full scan if you like while you are looking at the car to show you that there are no issues etc The car is in Cardiff for viewings (I may be able to get it to the west mids for viewings, however wont be going back there much over the next few weeks, so may be difficult to arrange) Any questions just shout, and any inspection welcome - I am sure there will be things I have forgotten! Needs to go as I have nowhere to keep this off the road now, so needs to go before the tax runs outs, plus Leanne is now in South America, so it isn’t going to be getting used. PM me on here, or you can get me on 07738 two six five 819 to have a look around it Dan

A couple of panels left over from my dear departed VR6. SOLD - SORRY FOLKS! For some reason my Dad is not so happy about these being on the patio anymore, so either they go to someone who needs them for beer money or they will be going to the scrap man over Christmas. Collection only, although that could be from either Walsall, West Mids (WS9 postcode) or from Cardiff, as I am always in Cardiff during the week, so could get them there for collection if needed. Open to offers, particularly if you can collect from Walsall as it is a lot less hassle for me than fitting them into the car and dragging them to Cardiff! Rear Bumper (Moonlight Blue) - Pretty good condition as far as I can see. Bumper iron is a bit rusty, but skin is in good nick with a nice shine -FREE Passengers Side Door - In twilight violet, and frankly a little ropey (see pics for specific bad bits) - few marks all over, paint is a bit tired etc. It does, however, still have window, electric window regulator/fixings, door catch, central locking bits all on it, and might be of use to someone - It obviously all still works fine etc, just a bit tired - FREE Any questions about anything, just shout Cheers Dan

Provisionally sold pending inspection/collection at weekend - Will update then either way! Dan

These were theoretically sold, so I pulled the previous advert, however it fell through as the buyer couldn't get the money together. They are in my way, and I could do with the cash, so £700 firm takes them. I could mess around listing them at a higher price to get bargained down, or put them on ebay and get more for them etc etc, but I could do with a hassle free, fairly quick sale, so there you go! Full set of Proper Corrado Recaros, in Half Black leather. In very good, useable condition, but not completely mint, I have tried to get pics of any bits that aren't so good, but all pretty minor stuff so difficult to get pictures of. I know that these can attract frankly ridiculous money sometimes, and being skint, would love to be getting pocketfuls of cash for these, however, I have tried to price them fairly given the condition, and in mind that I could do with them out of the way (If I had the space I would just keep them till I end up with a rado again, as I think they are probably the best seats I have ever had in a car bar none) and so I am after £900£700 Originally (I am guessing) from a left hooker, drivers bolsters are in excellent condition, and the passengers side, while leather is all very good, the bolsters are very, very slightly flattened if I am being ultra critical. The cloth centres could probably benefit from a good deep clean, but are certainly not dirty or unusable, I am just again being ultra critical. Anyway, pictures speak a thousand words, so: Drivers Side: Overall very good condition, leather in great condition, couple of marks on cloth parts Small Mark on piping at the furthest section back on bottom cushion: Mark at very back of bottom cushion where fabric has rubbed: Bolsters: Mark on Headrest: Passengers Side: Again overall very good condition - As said further up, if being ultra critical, the outer bolsters are a little flattened due to being from a LHD, and there are a couple of tiny marks on the piping on the upper bolster (shown in pics) Marks on Piping: Mark on Headrest: Rears: Complete with original First Aid kit (which still has all the stuff in it as far as I can see, unopened) and the warning triangle (I haven't taken the triangle out to take pics, as I was worried about putting it back in properly - I have never taken one out before!) Hump: Seats: Note that any marks that show on the leather in the main pics are down to how it was stacked prior to pics, and are not permanent marks Small mark on rear of headrest on drivers side rear: If anyone wants more pictures, let me know, however I would much rather any prospective buyer came to see them and was 100% happy with them before buying (also they would be both very expensive and risky to courier). Also, the seats are at my Dads house in the West Midlands, and I work in Cardiff all week, so would be the weekend before I could get more. I also removed the wiring loom for the seats - I assume it is actually already installed in all corrados anyway, but if not I have it and the purchaser of the seats is welcome to it if they wish. It is not up to me what happens to them once they are sold, however I would really like them to go into a corrado, and not have the rears *******ised to fit into a polo or golf etc, as they are such an original, good condition set of seats. I would love to keep them, but don't have the space or spare cash at the minute to justify it - I doubt I will be able to get another set anytime soon They are in Walsall, West Mids for viewing Any questions, just shout Dan

Hi Jas, Sorry mate, I didn't see this, have been a bit hectic - Have dropped you a PM, just let me know if you still want them or if you managed to get some in the meantime Dan

Back to the top - No-one? Too expensive? I am more than open to offers - No Rado anymore, so no need for handles  Dan

sold Genuine Corrado Electric Half-Leather Recaros - Price Reduced
dan95x replied to dan95x's topic in Parts for Sale
I have been a bit tied up with real life recently and not been on that much, but still have these - £750 takes them now -
Pair of Door Handles - Good condition and work perfectly (haven't had the infamous door handle repair done yet as far as I can see, so you might want to before fitting). The passenger door one could be notchy sometimes, but I am 90% convinced that was the door catch itself rather than the handle, as it feels fine now it is off the car if operated. I have the key (in fact 2) if you want it, but I assume you would be swapping your own barrels in - £60 the pair or £35 each Can be picked up from Walsall, West Mids or Cardiff if you wish, or can post for an extra fiver. Any Questions, just shout Dan

I will be honest - I have no idea! Someone else on here may be more knowledgable however! Certainly the Discs wont fit, as they are 5 stud, but I am afraid I don't know how similar the hubs are on the 4 stud rados to the VR, so I don't know whether the calipers would be a straight fit (with the shims) or not

Mine had ABS and it worked totally fine without any bleeding issues
-
Cheers Clumpy - As you say, the ability to scrub speed off is frankly ridiculous having these on a Corrado. I had the same setup on my 240bhp A3, and I thought they were good on that, but put them on the lighter Corrado and the stopping power is immense. They are nicely progressive too, so you don't have to throw yourself through the windscreen every time you touch them, but if you really step on them they are great. I do a lot of motorway miles, and personally I think they probably got me out of trouble 2 or 3 times when people did something stupid in front of me! Dan
-
I had them under 16s, but 16s would definitely be the minimum, and I would imagine that some 16s would be tight. I had them under a set of 16inch Audi speedlines with plenty of clearance, but also under a set of 16" BBS RS771s which only just cleared them, so I ran them with 10mm spacers just to appease my own mind clearance wise Dan

Ah apologies - As mine had banjo fitment lines I assumed they were standard - will edit title to suit!
