Just got her back from the bodyshop, she looks fabulous but would really like to replace these roof strips! Any news Endeegee?

You beaut! But I have no idea of their value!!!! I'm a bit stuffed without them tho so have a think and let me know what you want for them.... if you can find them that is. I know what you mean about the cost of a respray it was a now or never moment for me too. It going to cost more than the car's probably worth :/

I think it'll look a bit odd without them and it'll leave quite a deep groove for rain to sit in.... and rust to start maybe??

Haha! My need is greater at the moment... she's stripped back to bare metal in parts, hopefully will be finished in a couple of weeks. Been trying to post a scary photo of her stripped but can't seem to get it to upload. .... anyway if you were a true Yorkshire man you'd be a gentleman too and let a lady have first dibs! ;)

Hi.. I've finally taken the plunge and taken my VR6 in for a full respray. First thing the guy did was pull out the black plastic roof trims which run down either side of the roof.. of course they fell apart! So now I'm trying to find replacements. Firstly... any recommendations as to where to source them? Is it worth scouring Ebay? If so what do I search under, do they have an official name? I've tried roof trim, roof strip, roof seal all to no avail. I'm presuming if I get some from someone who is breaking a car they will be in the same condition as mine. I sourced a new sun roof seal from Germany on Ebay recently but just can't seem to find these trims. Any suggestions???

Looking to have my VR6 resprayed... any advice/recommendations?

Hi there.. I'm new to all this forum stuff so bear with me! I've owned my present Corrado VR6 for about 8 years. She's getting a bit tired but I can't bear to part with her so I've decided to invest some money and have her restored. So I'm after advice/recommendations for a decent garage and/or bodyshop in the West Midlands who will look after her but not rip me off. Has anyone used DC Customs in Dudley? I'm not a DIYer as I have neither the knowledge or a man who has the inclination!
