G60 in Mulberry Pearl 1991 Corrado G60 in mulberry pearl. Around 150k rising a little each week. Full black leather interior in good condition with minor wear. A nice lick of black leather treatment with proper fabric dye would bring it up nicely in places such as driver seat back rest. These places usually go first as getting in and out of car. Slightly lowered on 17" wolfrace alloys. Working electric moon roof. Working electric spoiler. Electric windows working fine. Magnetec HT leads. Upgraded front-mounted oil cooler with braided hoses. Upgraded front-mounted intercooler. After-market door pods with larger speakers. Two 5x9 speakers in rear parcel shelf. New stereo with iPod connectivity (can navigate through stereo head). The movement of the oil cooler (not standard) was to facilitate new pipework around intercooler as the oil cooler pipes were in the way. No modifications have been made for 'ragging' purposes. I still have good tread on the tyres I bought when I first got the car in Sep 2012. I am looking to sell/exchange for something a bit more economical as my commuting distance is about to increase. I've loved every minute of this car and still smile when I walk up to her face-on. I will be very honest with anyone serious about buying/exchanging as I want her to go to someone who knows what they're doing. I've sold classic cars before and enjoy seeing them kept in condition. If I keep her. these are the next things to do: Idle stabiliser valve is sticky so the revs are sticking occasionally. Someone said that Portland Trading in Gosport do a cheaper yet still guaranteed version. Power steering belt - squeeks in wet weather when turning under load. I'd finish replacing the pipework to and from intercooler / Scharger / inlet. I've only half-replaced with new. Still works fine but could look nicer. There are some patches were previous owner had car reprayed (mulberry not original burgundy) where the lacquer has not bonded with the paint. Schoolboy error! Here, the lacquer has started to bubble off, most noticeably on the bonnet. I have a new thermostat but have not replaced it yet. I got one because the car takes a while to heat up as the water system is open all the time. It's a bit chilly in winter :) Ideally would like to talk about a part ex for a 5 door MkIV golf diesel or similar. I will miss this car so much but I need to put my sensible hat on and get something boring. The golf g60 one fits snuggly bumper-side of the radiator. That's the one I'm after.
-
Sorry, should have said I'm after a golf g60 cooler to replace universal cooler previous owner had jammed in there.
-
Looking for a front mounted intercooler to replace the silly one that the previous one put in.

Great. I'll take that please. How do we do it? Finn ---------- Post added at 10:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:25 PM ---------- Great. I'll take that please. How do we do it? Finn

I guess this has gone, right?
-
Ah, but this is the one on the left then, as the top left corner is curved. The one on the right is squared off.

Hi, thanks for the pic but looking for the vents in the centre console (2 next to each other).
-
Hi Ray. Could I be a pain and ask for a pic? I know there are a couple of variations. Price good though. Will defo take if right one. Cheers Finn

Hi, I'm guessing it might be because previous owner has added a new intercooler but pinched the pipes in the u-turn but the torque in my g60 is really 'wavey'. It's almost like it pulses when I give it boost. Any ideas? Cheers
-
Hi. Do you have the centre console dash vents?
-
I'm looking for the vertical slat dash vents for the centre of a 91 dash. There's a big one on the right and a smaller one on the left. I'm after the one on the right. :) Cheers

I've seen a few on ebay but they appear to all be different shapes/lengths! Don't know what RSR outlet means :( I have the original radiator fan and surround, it's just that they're not fitted anymore. How much would you ask for the pipework and cooler (if you have one). Thanks for the response. Finn

Hi, Just joined so a big hello first off. Now, bought my G60 a few months back and now approaching warmer weather need to rearrange pipework. Previous owner has put in a huuuuge intercooler bumper side of radiator. It's so wide that everything behind it has been moved further back into the engine bay, meaning that the factory fitted rad fan had to be replaced with a smaller one. The smaller one is so small that if it is led by the temp sensor then it will not be strong enough to cool the engine back down from this point. It is run manually off a switch in the cockpit so I need to keep an eye on the temperature and preempt traffic problems! I was hoping to get some input as to what I'd need to revert back to factory standard. Also, is there any way on knowing if they have upgraded the s-charger as I don't know why on earth they've put such a massive intercooler in. It's almost the width of the engine bay. They've got an oil cooler where the factory intercooler should be so this needs to be moved/removed too. Grrrr. Cheers for any input. I tried to get some pics but it's too hard to see what's going on in them. Finn
