stevemac 0 Posted October 9, 2004 is it not Paul Kippax that has a concours black metallic VR6 for sale? According to the VR6 model history section in the May '02 edition of VW Driver mag, the actual colour of this car is called Magic Black. Although I'm not sure whether it is either flat or metallic. IIRC its a metalic Official name of mine is "brillantschwarz met" (brilliant black metallic) - code LA9V
Majik 0 Posted December 30, 2004 Bit of a late reply! but when i looked at the magic black paint (during respray period) it had only silver & blue flakes in the paint where as mine LA9V Brilliant black metallic has gold, silver, blue, green and red flakes in the paint
