Ford 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Hi, I currently have a powerflow exhaust on the C, decatted with 4 1/2" pipe - not too keen on the badboy image it sends out and the sound so considering a change. Magnex is very high on my list, but..... I have a friend that is breaking his "spare" VR6 to get the engine out. I was thinking about having his exhaust. Bearing in mind the car is an L reg, would it be worth all the trouble - cutting the exhaust etc-, am I looking at a new Cat in 6 months time? How long can the exhausts last? Cheers
Ford 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Hi can a mod delete one of these threads on exhausts. My computer froze and I ended up posting twice. Sorry.

Mike Edwards 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Well, my G60 appears to have the original... However, to remove and refit an original VR6 exhaust means dropping the rear axle of the car(s) concerned.
Ford 0 Posted October 9, 2004 you should be able to delete it yourself by clicking on the x in the corner in the other post Thanks, done. However, to remove and refit an original VR6 exhaust means dropping the rear axle of the car(s) concerned. Yeah we were looking at that, but were considering cutting it out instead and reattaching to new car, removing axles would be a nightmare. Too much trouble? Has anybody cut the exhaust and put it on another car successfully? Is it worth it or should I just stump up the £300 and get a magnex?
