craigowl 0 Posted October 9, 2004 Attached is picture of our Cavalier GL in late-March 1979. '79 was one of the coldest years on record. I had only just managed to get the car home from work in Edinburgh in the final and worst blizzard of that winter. Strangely, there was no paranoia about global warming as recently as that. Impending ice ages were still in vogue. Young Douglas - the boy from next door and on the left, now has 3 children, has had 2 partners and travels 30,000 miles per annum in an oriental monstrosity called a Sansui Shotgun Worrier, or something.
