Door handle problems....

Seeing as allot of you have this problem and fear the £50 est for a new handle, were you aware that there is a genuine VW repair kit to fix them? :? I've no idea whatsoever how much they are though.

on the subject of part numbers...did you get the number for the short besting arial from the sharan??

Rod type ariel - 7M0 035 849 E - you already have the bee-sting as standard :wink:

 

 

9 = Rod type ariel, only the Ariel itself (no. 12) will actually fit the original ariel base.

 

17 = 'Shark fin' version from the New Golf, looks X10 better, but the whole ariel is about £65.00, worth it if you value the little details though :)

Hmm. There's a "short bee-sting" aerial? How much? And how short? If it's identical, just about 30% shorter, sounds ideal! :)

I shortened my Polo bee sting to 1/2 the normal size, reception is still absolutely fine :)

Its not what Nelson thinks unforunetly, Its just a kit that has the bits needed to swap the locking barrels over to a new handle. :(

Yep, just a straight swap, I'm running a short one on mine and havn't noticed a difference but I don't use the radio that much...
