fleur322 0 Posted October 13, 2004 just wondering if anyone knows how easy it is to change an aux water pump. VAG only quoted me 1/2 hour labour so can't be so hard. Off with the cable tidy above the coilpack (6mm allen key will do it), disconnect and plug the water hoses to the aux pump, disconnect the wiring plug, remove the pump from it's rubber bondage clamp and then the reverse order for the new pump! Run engine up to temp with leave expansion cap off the coolant tank to allow any air pockets to escape. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
