stainless nuts bolts fastners

I seem to remember people saying you shouldnt use these in the engine bay. Cant remember why.

 

Anyone know.

Where a normal one would rust tight, these probably are more prone to working loose.

if thats the case then you would simple use thread lock

yup, threadlock city in my engine bay 'cos ALL of the fasteners on the outside of the engine are stainless steel! 8) :D

 

Looks nice and you're soooooo much less likely to round a head trying to undo something! 8)

dunno, I just didn't want 250ish BHP coming loose while I was ragging the f*ck out of it around a track so I threadlocked just about everything! :lol:

 

As long as you torque 'em up properly I can't see why they would come undone though... anyone else know? :?
