del68 0 Posted October 31, 2004 Couple of times today I got a beep from the dash when going round a round-a-bout. They were not particularly tight but I did take them faster than normal, 15-20mph. It's happened twice now, no other signs of anything being wrong just this beep as I turned right. Tried doing the same on a carpark going left and right but nothing. Confused
Jim 2 Posted October 31, 2004 Check your oil - that buzzer is the oil level warning noise, and the higher speed corner taking has caused the oil level to get low enough to trigger the alarm!
VR6 0 Posted October 31, 2004 Be very careful if you're not sure what level the oil is at (as Jim says).
del68 0 Posted October 31, 2004 Oil levelis fine. It was a beep not a buzz!
VR6 0 Posted October 31, 2004 I can't think what else normally beeps :?:
samm_cvr6 0 Posted October 31, 2004 had the same problem on mine, only happened when I took a corner and particularly roundabouts fairly quicky. But mine was low on oil so not sure if there is another explanation for you'r scenario, maybe just a computer malfunction?
daves16v 1 Posted October 31, 2004 Jim was referring to the beep, he just called it a buzzer.
