Geo 0 Posted November 5, 2004 They don't have to be loctited. I don't think that the torque settings are critical with them. If you are worried about leaks then put some sort of silicone type sealer on the threads. Just tighten them up 'normally' bearing in mind that you might want to open them from time to time to check oil levels/change oil etc.... Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Does anyone know if it be possible to screw them right into the gearbox (and lose them) if you kept on tighening and tightening...? (Not that you would, cos that'd be stupid.. But I'm just curious.)
