since the weather has got colder my vr6 is a lot faster. the pick up is a lot better and it now feels like it should do. does this mean that there is something wrong somewhere?? :)

basic science.........cold air = dense air = better induction.................the super/turbo-charged boys get the most benefit tho :wink:

Colder air is denser, thus contains more oxygen.

 

This creates a more efficient "burn" in the engine, hence the better performance.

science was never my strong point at school!!! apart from installing a fridge in my engine bay? is there anyway 2 make the air colder all the time? sorry if im being stupid guys :oops:

yeh i was looking at that. but i have a k&n induction kit allready fitted ( love the sound ) so is it worth wile changing that? :)

if you want colder air then yes.............just depends on how much you want colder air :wink:

lol indeed :)

 

i had an induction kit in the engine bay before and defo would recommend the carbonio over that setup as the air is 100% cool down there whereas an inbay filter is just gonna suck hot engine bay air.

 

plus it looks really nice ;)

 

not that Im biased of course :p
