can you repair a cracked downpipe g60

hi all think my exhaust downpipe is cracked and was wondering is it poss to weld it up again or should i buy a new one .have already changed front mount and will be changing others soon ,just that the blowing is pi$$ing me off now.

any advice would be nice.

Getting teh dwonpipes out is a big job, I'd go for having a spare handy in case it's not weldable. Are you 100% it's split and not a gasket thats blowing?

just weld it up with a patch over the crack, if you dont put the patch on and just weld the crack up it will probably just split again 8)
