Blue_Joe 0 Posted January 16, 2005 Sorry for my poor skills on paint but basically whaat I meant was the red areas. That way they could be blended in a little to the body work a little!!
daves16v 1 Posted January 16, 2005 Blue_Joe, If painted Black perhaps but would it be needed if painted body colour?
Blue_Joe 0 Posted January 16, 2005 I think it definatly would be, particularly if painting body colour. I just think it looks out of place as it is
automan3 0 Posted January 19, 2005 How're u getting on with the ADP's? Satin Black would be the best finish. Does the door or lock mechanism need any alterations to fit? On a related note what does your handle repair kit consist of and how much? The handle that was damaged by the would be tea-leafs is a bit sticky now. Cheers
daves16v 1 Posted January 19, 2005 Finishing touches to do on the door plates. There are no alterations to door or lock mechanism.
2cc 0 Posted January 20, 2005 Those are looking good Dave, tho have to say I agree with Blue_Joe's thoughts on the edge blending. Had my vr attacked there a couple of yrs ago so would deffo be interested - just can't make up my mind which colour finish would look best. I used to be indecisive but now I'm not so sure
mau803 0 Posted November 28, 2005 just joined the site, whats the story with the ADP's? are they in production?! where can i get hold of them? (fair play for inventing them...)
daves16v 1 Posted November 28, 2005 just joined the site, whats the story with the ADP's? are they in production?! where can i get hold of them? (fair play for inventing them...) I made a couple of pairs which I sent out. Andi (admin) had a pair but I don't know if he had them fitted. The other pair went to someone on the Corrado Yahoo group if I remember correctly. I haven't touched them in at least 6 months but I need to do a slight mod to them as the early and late handles have very slight differences that affect a universal fit. Andi 2,147,483,647 Posted November 28, 2005 Ah yes - its another one of those 'get around to it' jobs... they're all sprayed up and ready and have been for months now!!
mau803 0 Posted November 29, 2005 i'm looking at buying an 89 corrado in dark metallic green, in sounds all good, i haven't seen the damage but it didn't sound too messy according to the seller! all i can think of is ADP's to cover it up, i cant think how else to repair it. can they fix fiddly things like that in body shops without it turning into an expensive job? whats that dark metallic green paint like to match? anyone? mau803 0 Posted November 29, 2005 i emailed gti-bits.co.uk, they said they do stock adp's for corrados but they come up listed as for 'polo 95>99'. are these really goin to fit?
daves16v 1 Posted November 29, 2005 mau803, I doubt it would be a cheap job to repair but you can always get an estimate. If you need the door plates just give me a shout and I'll see what I can do. Dave

White2505 0 Posted December 2, 2005 Dave, what did the price work out at for these plates in the end?
daves16v 1 Posted December 2, 2005 I think it was about £30 per pair.
