Kevin Bacon 5 Posted December 2, 2004 I'm minus 45 all round with 215x40x17s (8" wheels) and I wouldn't want to run any wider rubber than that!! If you go up to 45 profile it will affect the speedo quite badly. If the damper and spring rates are OK, there shouldn't be any harshness with 215x40s. I would get your alignment checked as the car can get chucked around something crhonic when that is out. What C have you got? I recommend -1.2 degrees camber and +5 minutes toe out.
