Ok, a bit of a plan is starting to form, so far a poor turn out from the Glasgow area, with myself and biggrim. The plan is hopefully to meet up at services near the start of the m74 and make it about the time skid and anyone else thats travelling down from up north will be passing so we can all meet up.

Im sure skid or someone will arrange everything on the up north end but anyone else from the Glasgow area or nearby thats going and wants to meet up, give me a shout so we know whos all meeting where.

No probs, I think the services we are talking about meeting up at are the Bothwell ones just before Motherwell on the m74. What way would you go through Glasgow?

if I do go i think it will be through Kilmarnock. 20 miles/ minutes difference accorking to aa. DO have other arrangements that weekend though that i had forgotten about so will need to wait and see.

Too many good roads too choose from up your way Sandy, sometimes when im out for a drive I head up past the Balloch bypass towards Ardlui, Crainlaroch then on to Stirling before heading back to Glasgow through Milngavie.

So anyone gonnae take there C on track?

Meet at Aberdeen Duthie park sunday morning at 8.30am. :shock:

 

Then head off from there and meet whoever wishes to join the convoy.

 

Meet up with Joem and Bigrim at the bothwell services on the way down.

Well here's some photos of Kames on Sunday. Had a good day and had

my first long drive in my VR6. :D Very impressed with it i was too.

387 mile round trip and managed that on £40 of Optimax and a dodgey

Lambda probe :!: The old 16v plate and no badges trick worked well

when a Vectra V6 thought he could try and flash me out of the way on the

run back home. hehe

yeah it was a "nae bad day oot loon!" nice bit of twisty road from jnct 12 to muirkirk too :shock: :wink: :twisted: get to feel the difference that my koni's have made to the handling........and it was pretty cool our quartet of Corrado's convoying down....just a pity we didn't manage to get to bothwell services on time to meet joeM and biggrim..... :wink: no names mentioned..ahem :wink:

 

and some nice motors there too.....my fave was keith keenan's immaculate green G-60 rallye 8) .........and just for a change Ron Kasner won a prize :roll: then again not much wonder.......

 

and it was good meeting up with jill_g60 and her Club-GTi(moray)posse again :wink: :D

Twas a good day except for my wee bumper incident. :oops: The b-roads from the motorway to Muirkirk were a bit mad, was good to see the performance of Graemes G60 compared to my vr6 as well. 8)

Pity none of the Corrados went on track, did any after we left?

Anyone got any pics of the C's, the battery in my camera died an I never got any. :(

no one was brave enough to go on the track with a Corrado :wink: .....then again don't blame them......to say the track's a bit on the tight side is abit of an under-estimate :shock:

Joe, your VR is well meaty compared to my G60! When you horsed it past me going into Strathaven I thought you were gonna take off!!! I wanna go faster.
